Favorites
This is intended as feedback not a discussion topic. I recently was forced at work to use the Microsoft Edge browser instead of Internet Explorer. The reason I was the most disappointed about the switch would be the inability to customize the favorites icons on my favorites bar. Microsoft should change the favorites bar to enable this feature. Also, they should add more icon choices. For those unfamiliar, in IE by right-clicking the icon and selecting properties, you could change the appearance of the icon.
'Show Icon only' setting breaks on all Favourites Bar favourites after updates (Dev) on OSX Mojave.
Whenever I update my Dev build (auto or manual) my 'Icon only' links on my ('always visible') Favourites Bar revert to text and icon. It's a small thing, but it drives me nuts! A classic example of Joni Mitchell's "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone." Prior to Edge, I didn't even know I wanted this... now I NEED IT!
Show and Hide Favorites Bar Automatically
I want the favorites bar to automatically hide and display. It is displayed automatically when the cursor moves to the favorites bar, and hidden automatically when the cursor moves away from the favorites bar. While paying attention to privacy, it is very convenient to use the favorites bar. Thanks for adoption.Sync Favorites bar modifications
@David Rubino, I set a few of my favorites in my favorites bar to "show icon only", but on my other devices and other versions of the browser(dev and beta), it doesn't sync those changes. My other changes, such as adding and deleting pages and folders sync, so I know it's connected.
