Hi everybody, I have an issue that I accidently did a "dsregcmd /leave" on my Azure Virtual Desktop machine. The environment is Cloud Only so I don't have an Active Directory onprem. As today everything worked good but I had to move the AVD to another subscription. The login for the users didn't work anymore so I tried differtent things and the last one was the dsregcmd /leave. One of the worst decicions of my life. Does anybody have an idea how I can rejoin this VM back to Entra without creating a new VM? There are several applications with many custom changes so that a new VM would be the worst. I tried dsregcmd /join /debug which ended in error code DsrCLI: logging initialized. Cannot start Task: 0x80041326 Failed to schedule Join Task. Error: 0x80041326 DeleteFileW returned 0x80070002. I tried dsregcmd /forcerecovery /debug which ended in the error code CAA50024 and DsrCLI: logging initialized. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: DsrGetJoinInfoEx returned no join information. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: Forcing return of S_OK instead of S_FALSE. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded returned 0x00000000 (NEED RECOVERY). DsrCmdRecovery::NotifyUser returned 0x00000000. The command az vm extension set --publisher Microsoft.Azure.ActiveDirectory --name AADLoginForWindows .. gave me an feedbach with "Succeeded" but did't change anything. How can I rejoin this device to Entra so that the users can login with their Entra Identities again? Because it is a multi-session-AVD I don't have the options to join this device to entra in Settings > Accounts..... I hope someone can help me with this problem.Solved718Views0likes3CommentsJoin button in meeting notification window in macOS is not working anymore
Hello everybody. I have "macOS 13.6.1" and "Microsoft Teams (work or school) 23285.3804.2469.4861". I've been using "Meeting start notifications" perfectly for years, but in the last few days, every time that I try to join a meeting clicking on "Join" button doesn't work. Is this happening to anyone else? My workaround is to go to Calendar view, find the meeting and join from there. Thanks for your help RegardsSolved1.1KViews0likes2CommentsCan't connect to external meetings from the Teams Calendar, but can from Outlook
I am getting reports from many of my users across my organization that when they try and join a Teams meeting hosted by an external third party (such as a vendor, partner, or customer), that the meeting never connects if they click Join from the Teams calendar. However, if they go to the same meeting request in Outlook, they are able to join via the web link. Is there any particular reason my users cannot join a Teams meeting being hosted by an outside resource directly within Teams? All of our users have been migrated to Office 365 and Exchange Online, and Teams works pretty much flawlessly otherwise. RESOLVED - It was Mimecast causing the issue, we simply added a URL bypass policy for teams.microsoft.com to Mimecast, so did not put a mimecast.com security URL in its place.Solved33KViews0likes3CommentsOnly MS Teams Join URL by entering the meeting ID
Hi, Why doesn't MS Teams have a pure website for participating in meetings with HTML5 without prompting to run or install the desktop app .exe but only by entering the meeting ID? GotoMeeting and Zoom can do that... for example: https://app.gotomeeting.com https://zoom.us/join Access is particularly important for work platforms that only have a Chromium-based browser available, do not allow installation and can still be accessed comfortably. We want to allow our users to use it, but we are not allowed to setup. It's only about web participation using a meeting ID and not copying the email invitation from Outlook, for example. Please provide a website similar to GotoMeeting. Many Thanks.1.3KViews0likes1CommentPersonal Teams Account - Cannot Create or Join Teams (Office 365 Subscriber)
I just left a company that used Teams, and no longer have access. However, I appreciated the functionality, and still need Teams access to be able to join other Teams for collaboration or create my own. As such, I signed up for an Office 365 account this week. However, when I sign into Teams with this account, I have no option to create a team or join someone else's team. The only options are Activity, Chat, and Calendar. Even utilizing a link from a collaborator to join their Team does nothing. Is there a step that I am missing? I have read on multiple other sites and they all seem to point to restricted access. However, since this is a personal account, unrelated to any business, I do not see how this could be the case for me. Any insights on how to fix this or how to join my clients' Teams?3.6KViews0likes2Comments
