Current version of the Remote Desktop for Mac (Version 10.7.3 (1966) is not supporting multiple workspaces to subscribe to. The windows version of the client do support it. When will this feature be available n the Mac client as well. Currently you have unsubscribe and subscribe again to switch between Azure Virtual Desktop Workspaces. This is not practical when you need to switch often between two workspaces.5.1KViews43likes11CommentsMicrosoft RDP with macOS Sonoma experiences audio input disconnect
This week I upgraded my Mac to Sonoma and Microsoft RDP for Mac (10.9.2) is now experiencing microphone audio disconnects when I am in a remote Teams meeting via RDP. When I initially connect to Teams, video, audio input and audio output is working correctly. After a few minutes, Teams will report audio device microphone is disconnected and then no-one can hear me speak. My headphones (audio out) and video still continue to function. If I terminate my RDP session and start again, I see the same behavior. Microsoft RDP is a solid product that I have been using for over a decade, hopefully this issue can be resolved soon.15KViews22likes39CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop for Mac - Copy and paste works a while then fails
Using Mac OS X 12.6.8 and Remote Desktop 10.9.2. Beginning two versions back (10.9.0?), copy and paste works for a while after launching RD, but it eventually fails when copying from the remote machine to the local Mac. The failure manifests as a spinning beach ball in the application I'm pasting into. The paste operation eventually times out, but the quickest way to recover is to quit Remote Desktop and start the whole operation over again with the copy.4.5KViews22likes19CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop for Mac repeatedly forgets Windows 365 workspace
In the last week or so, I have repeatedly had to re-add the workspace URL for Windows 365 (the "subscription URL" collected from windows365.microsoft.com) to Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac. The issue started with the previous version of the app, but has continued to happen about once-a-day since installing the latest version (10.9.0 build 2140) from the Mac App Store. Every time the workspace is re-added, it needs to be reauthorized by signing in via OAuth again and any custom settings for the workspace need to be reconfigured. Is this a known issue or am I the lone recipient of this particular cosmic annoyance? đŸ˜‚7.9KViews21likes18CommentsAdd USB passthrough for Remote Desktop app
As a mobile developer I work with both Mac and PC. I use Remote Desktop to connect to a devbox from my Mac for developing Android apps. It would be really nice to have USB pass through on Remote Desktop app so that I can debug from the workspace to the USB connected physical phone.1.3KViews19likes2CommentsRemote Desktop Client for Mac, Error after updating to: 10.8.2
Hi, I upgraded to Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac: 10.8.2 but a connection I use just errors on trying to connect. I restored 10.8.1 from backup and it's working fine again, so thinking it is the new version causing the problem. It is quite an old server it's connecting to for this connection. Other, more modern servers are working fine with the newer version of RDP client. Running on Ventura, 13.3.1.7.9KViews18likes35CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop Mac client not working after upgrade to 10.8.0 error 0x3000064

When connecting to an AVD workspace using Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac, the user is prompted for their password every time. You can change this by going through a semi-hidden, multi-step process to add credentials, but that is not obvious and hard to find: hover over the workspace name click the edit button. Next to user account, select add user account... go through steps to add. select the account. save. Please make this simpler by adding the same functionality that exists for Windows where you can just select "Remember these credentials"1.7KViews18likes2Comments
