For the last couple days (since upgrading to macOS 12.4, although I don't know whether this is related) I can no longer copy and paste between my remote computer on Microsoft Remote Desktop and other macOS apps. The remote desktop and my Mac appear to be keeping separate clipboards. Steps: 1. In Microsoft Remote Desktop, in an email message, right-click a link. 2. Choose Copy Hyperlink 3. In Safari on Mac, click in the location bar 4. Cmd-V to paste Expected result: Paste hyperlink copied in step 2 Actual result: Either the paste fails (clipboard empty) or I paste whatever I last copied in some other app than Microsoft Remote desktop 5. Select some text in Safari 6. Right-click and choose Copy 7. In Microsoft Remote Desktop, in the remote Windows computer, Ctrl-V to paste Expected result: Paste text copied in step 6 Actual result: Paste text copied in step 2 My workaround is to use OneDrive, Notepad on Windows, and TextEdit on Mac to pass information between the two environments. P.S. I was brought to this current page by, in Microsoft Remote Desktop, choosing Help > Submit Feedback, so I would guess this is the right place. However, I see at the right, "If you have a technical question or need product support, please use Microsoft Q&A. Tech Community should be used for general discussions, how-to’s, best practices, and connecting with fellow community members using Azure." However, that link goes to a page that has no way to seek help for Microsoft Remote Desktop, only for Azure. You might want to update either where Microsoft Desktop's Help > Submit Feedback or else that link at the right on this page goes. Also, I keep getting messages to correct the highlighted errors. The highlights are too subtle and I have to hunt for them.50KViews4likes8CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop Mac client not working after upgrade to 10.8.0 error 0x3000064
Hi, I am using Microsoft Remote Desktop Mac client ( https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/microsoft-remote-desktop/id1295203466?mt=12 ) everyday to connect to remote app hosted on Windows servers. I upgraded to 10.8.0 this morning and the app does not connect anymore. It throws error code 0x3000064 It fails both when using imported RDP file, and when using Workspace connection. This week I upgraded my Mac to Sonoma and Microsoft RDP for Mac (10.9.2) is now experiencing microphone audio disconnects when I am in a remote Teams meeting via RDP. When I initially connect to Teams, video, audio input and audio output is working correctly. After a few minutes, Teams will report audio device microphone is disconnected and then no-one can hear me speak. My headphones (audio out) and video still continue to function. If I terminate my RDP session and start again, I see the same behavior. Microsoft RDP is a solid product that I have been using for over a decade, hopefully this issue can be resolved soon.15KViews22likes39CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop multi screen Issue for M1 MacBook Pro

Can you fix it please, I need this option for work.13KViews4likes24CommentsMicrosoft Remote Desktop for Mac - Copy and paste doesn't work
Hello, The copy and paste functionality doesn't work anymore. It used to work; i have the feeling it stopped working since the last update of Microsoft Remote Desktop. EDIT for clarification: Copy and Paste from remote machine to local machine does not work. I tried: Setting (Edit PC > Devices & Audio) Clipboard mode to disabled, reconnected a machine and disconnected from the machine. Setting (Edit PC > Devices & Audio) Clipboard mode to Bidirectional, reconnected a machine. Setting (Edit PC > Devices & Audio) Clipboard mode to Remove to local only. Remove Microsoft Remote Desktop and reinstalled it. Deleted the running proces on target host named rdpclip.exe and restarted rdpclip.exe Machine: iMac Retina 5k, 27 inch, 2017 Software: macOS Monterey version 12.1 Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac, version 10.9.0.10KViews12likes20CommentsRDP for Mac version 10.7.4 has broken multiple monitor support
I regularly connect to a Windows 10 Enterprise (1909) desktop using three monitors from my macOS 12 laptop. Last night the AppStore updated Microsoft Remote Desktop to version 10.7.4 and now it not longer works when "Use all monitors" is turned on. When I connect it loads on only one monitor with a resolution of 1024x768. If I turn off "Use all monitors" I get full resolution on one monitor. To make sure it is not my laptop I downloaded the beta version of 10.7.3 from https://install.appcenter.ms/orgs/rdmacios-k2vy/apps/microsoft-remote-desktop-for-mac/distribution_groups/all-users-of-microsoft-remote-desktop-for-mac and confirmed that is worked correctly with that version.8.9KViews13likes40CommentsRemote Desktop Client for MacOS -- scrolling in apps with a scroll per line is not smooth and hard
How to reproduce: Connect to your Windows (10\11) from MacOS RDP Client Open Visual Studio 2019 with some source file Try scroll source code file up and down with macbook trackpad Actual Result: Small and medium finger speed on trackpad does not start scrolling at all Hard push finger speed scroll a lot of lines of source file up\down, so it hard to scroll to specific code line Expected Result: Please make the trackpad scrolling experience via macos RDP client just the same as without RDP (native) for line-based scrolling UI applications (Like VS2019)8.6KViews9likes15Comments
