Force users to "entra register" their devices
Hi, is it possible to force user to register their devices when they log in with their company account to any other device than company owned? I tested on my private smarthphone. Logged in as normal user with company account and my device did not show up in entra as "Microsoft Entra registered" Any ideas? Visio Online: Can't Reduce Canvas Size
I have created a diagram using Visio online. My Canvas size is comically large compared to my design. when I go to Design->Size it shows that my canvas is set to 8.5x11. Given the size of my fonts and shapes my diagram should not be microscopic on an 8.5x11 canvas. Does anyone know how to shrink the canvas or what could be causing this issue?Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word issues after the recent Office updates
We use the Interop.Word from a Winforms application for interaction with Word documents. Everything was okay until the latest Office 365 updates on 10/31. Word hangs when used from within Interop.Word. Issue resolved itself when Office update is rolled back. Did something happen or change with respect to Interop.Word during this update? I haven't seen any other reported issues regarding this.
Word 365 Read Aloud Natural Voices Not Available
I've spent days scouring the Internet, desperately trying to find a way to add modern natural voices to Read Aloud in Word 365 on my Windows 11. There used to be a pleasant voice available for months, but it suddenly disappeared, leaving me with the awful robotic voices like David, Mark, and Zira. As a book author who heavily relies on the read aloud feature for proofreading, this is a significant issue for me. To add to my frustration, I'm encountering a strange error message when I click on read aloud, stating that I need to log in to hear a voice, despite already being logged in. I've read numerous posts and articles on this topic, but unfortunately, I haven't found a solution anywhere. It's frustrating to see that voices like Aria in Edge and Narrator are fantastic, but they don't appear in Word 365 Read Aloud, where I need them the most. Microsoft seems to make this basic function needlessly complex and elusive, and what is going on with the login message? I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance in resolving this matter. Thank you!
Microsoft 365 (Word) Paper Sizes
Today, I measured what is supposed to be 8.5" X 11" paper using an online ruler and found that my paper and padfolio sizes do not make sense. For example, my padfolio is actually 8.5'' H X 6.5" W based on the onscreen ruler. The printer paper I have bought states 8.5" X 11" but it is actually 7.5" H X 5 3/4 " W based on the onscreen ruler. Of course, the monitor is at a 100% and is supposedly 32 inches but only maps out to 18 3/4 according to the onscreen ruler. Therefore, I would like to know what the exact paper sizes are for Microsoft 365's 8.5" X 11" paper settings in both the web and desktop version.
Excel SHEETS not scrolling with laptop touchpad two fingers
Hey, I have been facing this issue in my excel where i am not able to scroll through to the sheets with mousepad two finger scroll. The Scrolls lock is off. Whenever I scroll and leave it redirect to the same position where it was, it is very time consuming while working on a multiple sheets and doing manual clicking on the arrow buttons to scroll till u reach to the sheet on which you want to work. Hi everyone! I have come across a requirement where the client would like to use an excel spreadsheet, a service account and application registration to manage group membership for a confidential group. They would like to create a group from which the members cannot leave, see other team members and cannot see the group itself. Now, I have the concept of the flow with me but for the life of me, I cannot get around to finding/configuring a group that meets the requirement. Have you guys come across this sort of scenario? Group Configuration: Users should not be able to view the group Users should not be able to view members of the group Users should not be able to leave the group Thanks in advance.
