Hide Class Template
Hi Is it possible to hide the Class Teams template from view when a user goes to create a Team? Ideally we would like our users to create Class Teams via our VLE which has the Teams Integration allowing for Class Teams to be provisioned including membership. As such we're not wanting to remove the ability to create Class Teams but rather force our users via our VLE to do so. From what I can see you can add/hide other templates via the Admin Centre but not specifically the core templates such as 'Class', or can you?Edit Recorded Teams Meeting
Hi All, Since all recorded Teams meetings are now stored in a "Recordings" folder in SharePoint, we can no longer edit the video in Stream without downloading to our computer and uploading into Stream. Once we are done editing the recorded meeting, we then have to download the edited meeting to our computer and upload into the Teams SharePoint site. This process is more than some of my non-technical users can handle. Is there a process that my Faculty can edit the video from SharePoint directly? Or possibly an easier method of editing the recording? Thanks for your input CheClass Teams Assignments Statistics
Does anyone know of any way to pull assignment statistics from class teams using PowerBI or Graph or equiv? Our School exec's want to see the usage of Teams and how many students are returning work etc. I cant see any PowerBI or Graph extensions for Teams classes so I don't have high hopes. I'm aware of the usage graph however am looking for specific data regarding assignments.
Bug?? Sharing teams Assignment posts
Hi guys Has anyone come across a bug when sharing an Assignment post (ie a post that is created by the assignments bot when an assignment is created) using the "Share to Outlook function" a message is generated in the body of the email with text and a link as follows "Card - access it on https://go.skype.com/cards.unsupported." Any ideas what is causing this? The link is not entered by the user manually or taken by teams from the instructions or any attachments in the Assignment. What is strange this is not happening every time, only certain posts cause this bug. Appreciate your input. Thanks MichalMicrosoft Teams in Education tips and guides

Odd question here, but I work in K12, and we have an issue where students are rejoining an old meeting from a previous teacher. The teacher (and their account) are no longer around, and the meeting was setup with the meeting settings were left wide open. This had lead to a situation where the students are inviting other students to the old meeting and chatting (usually inappropriately) and sharing content they should be sharing. Is there anyway of permanently removing this meeting now that the owner of the meeting and their account is gone? Is there a way to take ownership or list orphan meetings like this? I've done a content search/purge to remove look for the invites, etc. Is there anything else to do that I'm not thinking of?
MS Teams app error: Assignments not opening
Assignments open without error from the Assignments tab, it just doesn't open from the notifications tab. The iPads in question are 7th Generation iPads running on iOS 14.5.1. The errors only start happening when the iPads updated to iOS 14.5.1. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks!Camera Bug After Updating to Teams 1.400.2879
I have several students who are on the latest version of Teams and their integrated camera feed can not be seen by anyone else in the meeting. They can see the their camera preview on their screen but the teacher and other students can't see them. Nothing has changed but getting the latest update. An external USB web cam works perfectly but I am looking for this to work like it was just a week ago. Everything else is patched and up to date. Very frustrating for a school at this moment. Any help is welcomed!
