MS Teams Screen Freezes when Screenshare
Hello, I am a student and recently got a new laptop with Window's 11. My School uses MS Teams for our online lectures. I have no issues accessing logging on to the meeting, however when anyone presents their screen, the screen on my end freezes. No other students in the meeting have this issue, and audio is still live. Team's itself is still running (its doesn't crash, I can still see the comments, etc.), just the screen where my professor is presenting content is completely frozen. I've restarted and ended the program on task manager and no luck. Are there any current work arounds? I have seen some similar issues on forums.
MS Teams for Business - Design Educational environment + assignments
Dear all, Within our organisation's MS Teams environment (for Business) we would like to provide a space for the facilitation of interactive courses for our employees. One requirement to facilitate this, is to provide an easy space for self-assessments and evaluations. We are aware that within the MS Teams for Education, the "Class Team" environment allows to facilitate an easy way to doing so, with the Assignments plugin, through which quizzes/assessments can be facilitated. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to trace back this functionality within MS Teams for Business. I'm therefore wondering, if anyone has any suggestions on substitutional methodologies, to provide easy integrated assessment methods within the MS Teams environment. *I added a mockup of what we aim to bring into place. A "lecture room" in which it would be possible to read the lecture materials in the "Files" section, and conduct the self assessment in the "Assignments" section. Many thanks for your suggestions!
Notifications & audio interrupts Teams audio
I’m having an issue with Teams and Zoom, where any audio from notifications or audio not associated with that specific call (like if I’m in a call and I start playing music on my Pc in the background), interrupts Teams and Zoom audio. The audio from the meeting cuts out for an arbitrary amount of time lasting only a few seconds to almost a half a minute. The audio will only come back if the only audio source stops, but it takes time to come back. I use Teams for school. My assignments, which I do in class with my class, have audio a lot of the time. This issue prevents me from hearing my teacher and instructions. I use a SteelSeries Pro PC headset. This issue doesn’t effect any other audio source except Teams and Zoom. So I can play a YouTube video and get notifications or play other audio and the YouTube video’s audio is just fine.'We're having trouble updating your team. Hello there, I've been trying to update my team's avatars to make them more easily identifiable for a couple of months now but persistently receive this message when I try in-app or online: We're having trouble updating your team. Please try again later. I've tried on different networks/ devices and nothing seems to make a difference. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
Add more than 20 students to an assignment
Hi there Rather than assigning an assignment to all students, I'm trying to add a group of 20+ students to it within a Team, but when I get to 20, it won't let me add any more. Is this a "thing" or is there a way around it? (As an aside, at the moment, it's not even giving me the option to assign the assignment to anyone except "All Students"). Thanks in advance. sarah
Question about Technical Documentation Team for MS Teams
I'm a student learning about technical documentation. We chose MS Teams as a faux company project with bug fixes and new features add. Just out of curiosity what size of technical documentation team is required to support an app like MS Teams in real life and what are their general titles? I'm curious to know. If you can expand, I would love to know what kind of support the TDT provides on any bug fixes or new features. General info is what I'm seeking. Nothing personal. Thank you to anyone who can highlight how this team might be structured. I'm super interested in learning about it.
MS Teams app error: Assignments not opening
Assignments open without error from the Assignments tab, it just doesn't open from the notifications tab. The iPads in question are 7th Generation iPads running on iOS 14.5.1. The errors only start happening when the iPads updated to iOS 14.5.1. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks!
Reading progress.
It would be great ful if you add reading progress in the general teams insted of school profile IDs. Because many government school teachers have Lowe resources and funds to establish Digital rooms. So we can use the reading progress with our students in the personal teams account. Please consider. Thank youm
