Microsoft Teams 5-year milestone and hybrid work
It's hard to believe it's been five years since Microsoft Teams was introduced to the world! The product team recently shared in this blog post, "Today, more than 270 million people rely on Teams for hybrid work." Wow! I've had the pleasure of using Microsoft Teams daily in my job since its release, but it has become an even more vital tool to keep my team and I connected and work efficiently over these last couple of years. Microsoft Teams meetings not displaying users names, instead displays phone numbers.
My client is having this issue where he conducts a Teams meeting and on the right side panel it shows everyone who is in the meeting but then on the middle it shows their phone numbers. How do I change that behavior in the admin center? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Logitech Rally Bar video quality issues with multiple participants
We recently purchased a Logitech Rally Bar for testing. When the conversation is one on one the image in the attached picture is great. Top quality, clear as expected, and what you would be looking for in a Teams Room solution. The image on the right side of the attachment is the quality that you get by adding a 3rd person to the call. Dropping back to a one on one call restores the video back to the left image. Additionally, if we spotlight the teams room video the image returns to high quality. The only time the image degrades is when there are multiple video feeds in the call. Any suggestions or thoughts on how to address this issue would be appreciated. The issue occurs with wired and wireless connections to the unit.
Teams on MacOS - Text Keyboard Shortcuts not working
Hi All, I'm using Teams (Version 1.4.00.29478) on macOS (BigSur 11.6) and I'm finding the select all text shortcut (CMD + A) isn't working. The cut, copy, paste and undo shortcuts all work fine, it's just select all which isn't working. I use it all the time so it's quite annoying. It works in all the other apps I've tested, including other Office apps like Word, Excel and Outlook. I've checked the Teams specific shortcuts but nothing is mapped to CMD + A and I've double checked the shortcut app I use (BetterTouchTools) and it's also not using CMD + A. Any ideas?Outlook duplicated a meeting 16000 times
Long time reader - first time poster. I helped a user who was an organizer of a meeting and they received a conflict message regarding conflicting edits. They clicked keep all and the meeting duplicated it self 16000 times. Similar to this error here . Does anyone have any ideas why this happened? It was a reoccurring meeting with forwarding allowed. I'm not sure if this was sync issue or if the conflict message is unrelated. Additionally, any recommendations on how to organize a meeting that has participates leaving and joining throughout the year?Corrupt Page in OneNote
We have an MS Team which is using OneNote regularly. For some reasons Teams and the OneNote for Win 10 App shows an (Error code: 0xE00001BB) / corrupt page. In OneNote 2016 it is still possible to open the Notebook and see everything, but not able to sync. So I have 2 questions. 1. Is there another solution than creating a new OneNote and Copy everything into this 2. How can this error be prevented / what causes this problem?Share 3rd party app via link for Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams
Hello everyone, we have developed an app that is available inside Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365. For Microsoft Teams, we can easily share a link so new users will directly land on app installation dialog inside Microsoft Teams. Those links look likes this: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/<app-id>?source=app-details-dialog Is there a way to achieve the same for Microsoft 365 and new Outlook? Best regards, Jens
