5 TopicsMoving SQL Reporting Services Native Mode
I am trying to move a SQL Reporting Services database from a 2016 server to 2022. No problem, done this many times before. But on this one the source server in Reporting Services Configuration manager shows as Native, but once restored on the new server. When I run Reporting Services Configuration manager it pops up as Sharepoint. Anyway to set it back to native mode? Please advise. Thanks! Hello, We are currently on Airwatch and iOS users use the Native Client, we are working on migrating to Intune (EMS+Security E5) and are getting some pushback about using the Outlook Client (Notifications, calendar, etc.). What do we loose security wise if we stick with iOS native Client? I think there is some possible AIP problems (once that is implemented), has anyone has experience with that? Edit: I would like to continue this topic here: 🙂 https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-intune/ios-managed-contacts-how-to-deal-with-that/m-p/1473555#M4572 Hi folks, i'm struggling with the sync between outlook for ios and the native contact app. What I've done so far: Created an app protection policy for managed devices, where contactsync is allowed Created an app protection policy for unmanaged devices, where contactsync isn't allowed. This is working as expected. When the device is enrolled in intune it's processing the managed policy and is able to activate the contact sync. Well, what bothers is me is the fact that 3rd party apps like whatsapp are able to see these work contacts. I already read throught this article: Support Tip: Enabling Outlook iOS Contact Sync with iOS12 MDM Controls I tried to add the following to my app configuration for outlook, but it isn't working: (mentioned here: docs.ms ) com.microsoft.outlook.ContactSync.AddressAllowed > false com.microsoft.outlook.ContactSync.BirthdayAllowed > false When synchronising some test contacts they still contain adress & birthdate. Any help understanding this problem is highly appreciated. Kind regards, Patrick4.5KViews0likes0CommentsCreate a Native/Desktop Windows Admin Center implementation or Open source it
Prasidh_Arora , @Cosmos Darwin, and @Jeff Woolslayer, I've been bugging you about this ever since Windows Admin Center became a product, and since more and more advancements are going only there this is becoming an issue. A number of people have already upvoted the idea on the user voice, and this needs to get done especially for large corporations such as GE.
