Today, I measured what is supposed to be 8.5" X 11" paper using an online ruler and found that my paper and padfolio sizes do not make sense. For example, my padfolio is actually 8.5'' H X 6.5" W based on the onscreen ruler. The printer paper I have bought states 8.5" X 11" but it is actually 7.5" H X 5 3/4 " W based on the onscreen ruler. Of course, the monitor is at a 100% and is supposedly 32 inches but only maps out to 18 3/4 according to the onscreen ruler. Therefore, I would like to know what the exact paper sizes are for Microsoft 365's 8.5" X 11" paper settings in both the web and desktop version.5Views0likes0Comments5.3.4 Maximum Body Parts error makes no sense
So I have one user who is plagued with one of the weirdest problems I've ever known in 30+ years of working with exchange - this is on Office365 She is sending emails from Outlook on Windows but then getting an NDR: Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: email address here Your message is larger than the size limit for messages. Please make it smaller and try sending it again. Diagnostic information for administrators: Generating server: GV1PR02MB8281.eurprd02.prod.outlook.com email address here Remote Server returned '554-5.3.4 Content conversion limit(s) exceeded 554 5.3.4 STOREDRV.Submit.Exception:ConversionFailedException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message [BeginDiagnosticData]Content conversion: Maximum number of body parts (250) per message exceeded ConversionFailedException: Content conversion: Maximum number of body parts (250) per message exceeded[EndDiagnosticData]' That's not the weird part, the weird part is as follows: 1) Any other user can send the exact same message with no problem whatsoever 2) If I run an office repair (full online) or uninstall and reinstall office, then the problem goes away and her emails send again - for a short time, after about 20-30 emails they all start failing again with the above error. 3) None of the failing messages show up in exchange logs at all that I can find, ones that succeed I can see, ones that fail for other valid reasons I can see, but these 5.3.4 emails are just not in the logs at all, it seems like the server rejects them even before they enter mail flow logging. This is a largish and complex email they are trying to send, it does have a lot of inline images and some tables that I would expect to run the email up to around 30-40 parts (not sure how to check it). When this email is generating the 5.3.4 she can still send basic emails, it's only these complex ones that fail - but it's not the email that is the problem, other staff have been sending the same email in bulk (we are a PR company, it's a weekly mailer we send out to journalists) with no issues whatsoever, and as stated if we repair or reinstall office they temporarily send and then suddenly start failing again.13KViews0likes2CommentsOutlook 365: Duplicate conference room names showing under locations
We recently changed our conference room names and since that time, we've noticed that some of our users are seeing multiple entries for conference rooms. When the users attempt to select the room on the location tab or required tab, they are seeing duplicates of the same rooms. This is only happening when the users are selecting the room from the location tab. If they go to Room Finder, there is only one instance of the room. The issue of course is that most people just use location and do not go into Room Finder as it creates an extra step. I have looked at multiple sites on this and the solution they quote involves changing the registry, but we don't have the registry option that these solutions point out. We also don't want to have to manually do a registry change for every individual having this issue. Has anyone come across this and if so, how did you resolve it? one more thing, we are also experiencing this in Outlook web.7.4KViews1like12CommentsBlog about How to Enhance Prompts in Copilot A Guide for Project Managers
AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot are transforming software development by assisting developers with code generation, debugging, and documentation. While Copilot is primarily used by engineers, project managers (PMs) can also leverage it to streamline project workflows, improve communication, and enhance productivity. The key to getting the most out of Copilot lies in crafting effective prompts. https://dellenny.com/how-to-enhance-prompts-in-copilot-a-guide-for-project-managers/19Views0likes0CommentsOffice 365 for IT Pros 2025 Edition is Now Available

Since I renewed my subscription to Office365, I have been unable to use it. Every time I open a Word document, I get the bar asking if I want to see what's new or to update Office. That's as far as I can get. I cannot open new documents, I cannot type or paste into the document that is open. And I have to open Task Manager to close the window. How can I fix this? If I have to download the software again, will I lose any information that I have on my computer?7.2KViews0likes3CommentsMicrosoft 365 Cloud vs Desktop Applications
I am having issues with the Microsoft 365 Professional version which supposedly should display the documents as a replica on the Cloud when edited using the Desktop version of the same application. Shown below is what a Microsoft Word document looks like side-by-side Cloud vs Desktop: It would seem that spacing and page breaks would hold properly in the Cloud version (shown on the left), but do not. My understanding is that Microsoft Office products have always had an XML base, so technically, what is produced using a Desktop version of an application should display as a replica when opened in a Cloud version of an application. However, what I am seeing is that I lose page numbering and properly spacing in my Cloud version of the same exact document which is pulled from the same exact file location. I am constantly doing double the work to create a perfect document. Are there any suggestions from Microsoft 365 support that might help remedy these formatting issues?14Views0likes0CommentsExport to PST via Powershell
I am continually expanding on my offboarding process within Orchestrator. I decided to add the export of the email so that all that has to be done is go to the Content search and download it (unless someone knows how to do that as well...). My addition works, however, instead of creating a single PST file, I end up getting the actual folders with individual email in message file format. I have tried what is correct per everything I could find (honestly, not a lot of detail on the subject). The current single line in question is: New-ComplianceSearchAction -SearchName $SearchName -Export -ArchiveFormat PerUserPST -EnableDedupe $true I have tried different values for -ArchiveFormat including leaving it completely off since a single pst per user is supposed to be the default. I will include the entire part of the script responsible for the full function in case it is supposed to be declared somewhere else (but I haven't found anything). # Create Compliance Search - Export Email $SearchName = "Export - " + $term.Name New-ComplianceSearch -ExchangeLocation $term365.UserPrincipalName -Name $SearchName # Start Compliance Search and wait to complete Start-ComplianceSearch $SearchName do { Start-Sleep -s 5 $complianceSearch = Get-ComplianceSearch $SearchName } while ($complianceSearch.Status -ne 'Completed') # Create Compliance Search in exportable format New-ComplianceSearchAction -SearchName $SearchName -Export -ArchiveFormat PerUserPST -EnableDedupe $true $ExportName = $SearchName + "_Export" #Wait for Export to complete do { Start-Sleep -s 5 $complete = Get-ComplianceSearchAction -Identity $ExportName } while ($complete.Status -ne 'Completed') Any help would be appreciated!Solved161KViews2likes46Comments
