We are using Microsoft Windows 10 multi session + Microsoft 365 Apps image dated 4/25/2021. Our requirements are Office 32-bit, and we are using Applications. Around the middle of July, we started receiving an error opening some Excel files in OneDrive. We have close to 400 users using AVD with the Office 365 E3 license. Microsoft Excel Sorry we couldn't open 'https://company-my.sharepoint.com/personal/username/Documents/filename.xlsx'. Click OK button Microsoft Excel Microsoft Excel cannot access the file 'C:\Users\Username\OneDrive - Company\filename.xlsx'. There are several possible reasons: The file name or path does not exist. The file is being used by another program. The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a current open workbook. If I open the Excel file on my local computer with OneDrive, no error. If I open the Excel file Online in O365, no error. If I open the Excel file using the Default Desktop, no error. It seems to only occur when using the applications in AVD. Our workaround is to make a copy of the Excel file that has the error and then we can open that copy. The error does not happen with all Excel files. The files with trouble do not have any features enabled, are all .XLSX format. I did open a ticket with the Microsoft Tech, and he had me rename this folder to -old “C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office” which seemed to work until I logged in the next day, then had the same error. Has anyone else seen this error or have any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks, Denise6.7KViews0likes5CommentsContext menu for new files and folders missing
Hey @all, I am currently facing an issue at one of our customers. We have implemented FSLogix profile container with Azure File Share, OneDrive KFM and FoD with machine installer and Windows 10 Multi-Session 20H2 (19042.906). When a user sign-ins he/she do not have the ability to create a new folder or file with right-click "new" because the whole entry is missing: When I try to create a folder or file from Windows Explorer nothing happens when I press the button: But creating a folder from PowerShell in the same directory works fine (so I think no permission issue): I have checked the registry if the keys for the context menu are present but I don't see the key "directory" and subkeys maybe because it is a multi-session os? Anyway I couldnt import the "directory"key-path exported from another Windows 10 device, regardless if I have administrative privileges or not. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this? Thanks in advance. Best regard SandroSolved1.9KViews0likes1CommentOneDrive Settings page doesn't show up
I have setup a Azure WVD (spring 2020 version) with OneDrive (machine install) used to sync files across local and remote machines. Currently we do not have remote profiles, and only one host for this POC. My pain at the moment is that the users can't access the settings page nor the information page for OneDrive (to see if it's all synced). This would allow to check if OneDrive stopped because of an error on a file or to stop sync SharePoint folders. Is there a way to get there that I'm not seeing? BR2.4KViews0likes2Comments
