Hi, Was wondering if any can assist. A team want to upload MP3's from OneDrive accounts. They seem to be having issues with syncing The files are received via Email in MP4 format and saved in a SP folder It is converted to an MP3 and saved in the same folder. Another case handler may then try to access the MP3 for typing (importing it in to Speech Exec) and it does not appear in the SharePoint folder. This person then has to access the original email, save the MP4 and convert to MP3 themselves in order to access it. This has to be done by each employee who needs to type. This can be up to 4 different people. The users who need to play these have the permission of Edit and Is there a simpler way to make these accessible?? It even takes longer if the excel file is opened by multiple users. What could be causing this problem? Kindly assist.140Views0likes2CommentsExclude OneDrive folder from SharePoint Online search
Hello I have tried the following to exclude from Search a folder with the name "TEST" in my OneDrive root, as specific User have access to that folder by using a flow only they can see the created documents in search results. I need to hide that documents and I am deleting that documents after an Email is send from that flow, but its essential that nobody can find the documents over the search in SharePoint. So I have excludes the path to the folder by using the following steps: (1) Went to site settings of my OneDrive (2) Clicked on "Result Sources" and was setting up a "New Result Source" (3) Created the following query with the QUERY BUILDER: path:"https://xxxxxxxxxxxx-my.sharepoint.com/personal/UserName_company_de/Documents/TEST" -ContentTypeId:0x0120* (4) Test was showing NOT that folder (5) Checked if the folder was showing up without CONTAINS NOT by using the same query without "-" "ContentTypeId:0x0120*" and it was working, folder was showing up as only result. (6) Set that "Result Source" as DEFAULT. After that I tried to search in OneDrive, the folder still exist in the search results. I tried the same from the Home Page in SharePoint Search field, same result, I can see the folder... If somebody knows another way please let me know ;) Thanks in advance. We have a small number of users where their Synced libraries will suddenly stop syncing. Background: This is the tail end of an on-prem File Share to SharePoint migration. The migration went well. Instead of mapping to network drives they are now using the OneDrive client to sync to the SharePoint Document Libraries. Most users are fine but a handful are having an issue where the local Document Library will stop syncing. A restart of the PC or simply restarting the OneDrive application does nothing. When the Document Library stops syncing it no longer appears under the Accounts section of the OneDrive app. One of the main Document Libraries is huge so when we kick off a resync the resync can take hours. All user machines are either Windows 10 or 11, running all latest versions of OneDrive. Has anyone ever come across this?292Views0likes1CommentFile Size limits regarding antivirus analysis in SharePoint Online, OneDrive

Good day. I would like to know if there is a way to ignore specific file types using the OneDrive/SharePoint sync. I want to note that this is NOT preventing certain file types. I want to ignore them entirely. This is from specific lock files from "proprietary" file extensions. As an example, .idlk, from Adobe InDesign. I know that Adobe has their own cloud sync platform, but we don't want to use it as we want to keep our files consolidated as much as possible. The reason I ask for an 'ignore' option is because if we attempt to block the sync, it creates a sync error instead, making people panic. Is this remotely possible? Making changes with PowerShell is completely do-able and may be preferred if this is the method to use.34Views0likes1Comment
