Outlook Newsletters are intended for internal communications, at least for the preview. It’s possible to take the HTML for a newsletter and send it with Azure Email Communication Services (ECS), the PAYG service for bulk email. It sounds like a good way to use Outlook Newsletters to share information with customers and other external recipients. Some manual intervention makes everything works. It would be great if Microsoft tweaked Outlook to remove the rough edges. https://office365itpros.com/2025/03/12/outlook-newsletters-ecs/11Views0likes0CommentsOutlook Search Folder for External Senders
I'm using the Outlook M365 desktop app on the current channel and Exchnage 2019 in Hybrid mode with Exchange Online. We route all mail inbound and outbound via Exchange Server. I'd like to create a search folder in Outlook to show only mails from external senders. The issue is the only criteria I can seem to create would rely on the From field and this seems to map to the SenderName on the MailItem object in Outlook. This is not the actual sender's mail address that would include the @domain etc but rather seems to be the senders name which is arbitrary from I can see e.g SomeSender. How to create a search folder based on the senders actual address?49Views0likes1CommentMeeting Options are limited
Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsExchange Online calendar sync tool
We have developed software that synchronizes Exchange calendars. For the past few months, we have been facing a new problem that we did not have before. We synchronize calendar entries based on the LastModifiedDateTime attribute of the Microsoft.Graph.Event class. We are puzzled by the fact that this attribute magically changes without any adjustments on our part. Do you have any advice on this?37Views0likes1CommentExchange Hybrid Wizard Error (413)

Hello, since macOS Sequoia the appointments in Bookings are no longer synchronized with Apple Calendar on Mac. However, the appointments are synchronized on iOS 18.2 devices. Has anyone else had this problem?89Views4likes4CommentsOutlook shared calendar not reflecting correct times
Hello, Our team utilizes the Microsoft Bookings App to manage studies. We instruct team members to update their shared calendar in Outlook with their working hours which we then copy into the Bookings App. The issues is that the shared calendar times that we see are rarely aligned with the times entered by the clinicians (Especially when using the old vs. new Outlooks) , so we cannot trust the shared calendar as a viable source for their working hours. Has anyone experienced similar issues with shared calendars?25Views0likes1CommentOutlook Auto-refreshing on Web - How Do I Stop
This is an annoying problem that only started recently and is interfering with my email workflow. We have Microsoft 365 and I use the online Outlook app extensively. I will commonly have multiple tabs open with different emails visible and my calendar open in a separate tab. I have been doing this for more than a year without any issues and enjoy the ability to have more than one view of my email and calendar. Recently, a new behavior started where all my Outlook tabs will spontaneously auto-refresh which destroys my views and resets everything back to a view of the inbox. This is a terrible inconvenience since now I have multiple tabs that had the exact items I wanted on them all showing the same default view. How can I stop this! I don't think any of the other tabs in the browser (normally Chrome) auto-refresh when this happens. Is this a setting the admins of the tenant may have changed? Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas of what is causing this?5.4KViews0likes3CommentsThe New Outlook Gains Colored Folder Icons
Colored folder icons doesn’t seem like a new feature that should appear in an email client that’s been around for a long time, but the new Outlook for Windows and OWA now both offer users the ability to choose different colors for folder icons. Apparently, this is an important step forward in the development of the new Outlook and might just be the killer feature to convince the curmudgeons who use Outlook classic to switch. https://office365itpros.com/2025/03/07/colored-folder-icons/54Views1like0Comments
