12 TopicsPhone devices and Better together over Bluetooth issue
There is very little information out regarding the Better Together Over Bluetooth feature that is available on the desk phones, and I'm getting a little frustrated trying to troubleshoot this. I'm trying to find a seamless solution for some users as the Yealink MP50's are just terrible and don't function correctly with the Teams app. There's delays when answering, non-responsiveness, etc. So for testing, I'm using a Yealink MP56 on the current firmware. Version: 1449/1.0.94.2023020602/0206 Calling Version: 2022.38.01.3 I've gotten btob to connect just fine with the PC and the lock/unlock feature works great. Here's my quirk, and I have no idea how to fix it. We use Direct Routing with an SBC for the Phone System. If I attempt to make a phone call from the Windows App to an external number, I get this. If I make a phone call from the Windows App to Teams user, it connects just fine, and works, and shows up on my MP56. I have the MP56 selected as an audio device in Teams. This issue ONLY happens with external calls. Internal calls work great. About a month ago, I was able to dial from my Windows app and pick up the MP56 no problem. I don't know if there was an update out that broke this, or if anyone else has messed with the btob feature. I just want users to be able to dial from the Windows app if needed, and pick up their handset on the MP56. I've tried an MP54 with Bluetooth, and an Audiocodes C470HD with the same result. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.2.9KViews0likes1CommentGet-CsDialPlan Disappeared
One day, being curios about the dialed number manipulations that Microsoft Phone System does for us when we just have the user with specific country locations and not assigned with TenantDialPlan, I found out that the command listing all country specific dialplans disappeared. Get-CsDialPlan not possible anymore. Still being published on Microsoft pages as availble, I simply do not have it. Any hint why from insight guys? I understand these are not possible to be changed (which I would anyway welcome) but not giving option to display? At least visible when displaying EffectiveDialplan ...2.4KViews0likes3CommentsHow to Assign a "Caller ID Policy" via "group policy assignment" to a security Group
Hi everyone, I have been trying to figure out how to assign a "Caller ID policy" to a security group via group assignment. During the Group Policy assignment it only gives me the option of allow or block calling. (See Screenshot below) I have been seeing some screenshots that custom caller ID policies are also possible to be assigned... Any ideas? The Security group (Teams-SG-CallerID-Policies) should not be an issue since it can be selected as in the picture. Any way that I can kinda allow custom policies to be selected? I have also tried using the following cmd: New-CsGroupPolicyAssignment but it doesnt contain the Type: "Caller ID Policy":4.4KViews0likes2CommentsTeams Phone System - Remove Country Code?
Hi, We use the Teams system with direct routing from Gamma. I can't figure out on how to amend the Caller ID. Whenever someone calls one of the teams numbers, the number comes through with the country code of '+44'. I could call the number from landline or mobile and it comes through as +44. We need it to show '0' rather than '+44'. Reason behind this is because all of our numbers in AD are added in the '0' format rather than the '+44' format. Teams only adds the full name if the number matches exactly in AD. For my name to appear when dialling my colleague above I need to change my number to +44 in AD. Has anyone else come across this issue? I have logged with Microsoft support and awaiting to hear back. I have tried Dial Plans and Caller ID policies with no luck.Solved27KViews1like4CommentsCall going silent after being transferred to external phone number in Auto Attendant
Hi there, I have an Auto Attendant set up in Teams with an option that redirects to an external phone number. When I press the option that redirects my call to an external phone number, I hear "please wait while your call is being transferred", then a few rings, then silence. I've tried different formats for the number, in case that is what is wrong, e.g. 07912345678 +447912345678 7912345678 +4407912345678 All go silent. The resource account for my Auto Attendant has the following licenses: Microsoft 365 Domestic Calling Plan (120 min) Microsoft 365 Phone System - Virtual User I noticed that if I place the call using my Teams client (because I also have the phone system license), the call is put on "hold" when it goes silent, here is what it looks like: Does anyone know what I am missing? I've tried diverting to a mobile and a landline but both have the same result. Regards, Christian2.7KViews0likes2CommentsTeams phone system stats
Hello I have been looking to replace our aging onsite pbx system and while looking at various options i have been testing the Teams phone system functionality, (we already use Teams as our collaboration platform. I have set up a test environment with a couple of queues and an auto attendant, all works great but i was looking to grab some statistics, the thought being if we introduce this to our support teams i can report on missed calls by certain queues, call volumes etc, i don't see an obvious place this exists am i missing something i thought this would be an obvious feature, is there any way to get this info?12KViews0likes5CommentsTeams Phone System
Going to be going down the Teams Phone system route soon, although we have a call centre software for our main customers, we have an internal helpdesk of 5 users and I wanted to know if Teams Phone system would be a better option for the small 5 person team. Would the 5 person team be able to see each other in Teams as far as who was 'available' for a call and who was 'at lunch', or 'in a call'. Or will just just see the usual Teams presence states. ThanksSolved1.9KViews1like3CommentsIssue with Call Group and Direct Routing
Hello, When someone call the phone associated with the "Call group", all the Teams Apps in the group are ringing. But when someone pick up the call, it's not really picked up, there is a call that is made to the number that is currently calling.... The persons that was calling the group is still hearing the music. There are 2 calls actually, the first to the group and the second the other way... And sometimes it's working 😕 I dont know why... I don't even know where I need to look at ... That's very odd... Thanks Nick2.2KViews0likes2Comments
