Tutorial: Create A Microsoft Planner Task When A Microsoft Form Response Is Submitted
This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a new planner task every time a new Microsoft Forms response is submitted. The approach outlined in this video will leverage a Microsoft Power Automate workflow that takes the details from the Microsoft Form response and passes the information into a newly created planner task. The tutorial will start by demonstrating how to create a basic Microsoft Form and then will demonstrate how to create the workflow. The tutorial will also demonstrate how to conditionally create Microsoft Planner Task in different boards depending on the value selected in a choice type field in the form. For example, if response one is selected at drop down question one, then create a task in board one. If response two is selected at drop down question one, then create a task in board two. Hello, I've been using Office365, Teams, Planner for a while now. Been a few days that I'm unable to add a new Planner to a Channel. Every time I try to add Planner to any Standard Channel, it returns the error message "We couldn't save your tab settings. Please try again." Contacted Office Support on Twitter and they redirected me to Tech Community. Please suggest. Thanks, Sam
Tasks by Planner and To Do: How to tag team members on tasks for awareness but not for ownership
Hello all - I'll trying to figure out if it's possible to include team members on individual tasks in planner so that they can be aware of the progressing being made on key tasks rather than assigning them as responsible team members. For instance, in the example attached, I would like for Rohan to be the individual responsible for the task. However, I would like for Dave to receive updates as comments and changes are made to the task so that they can also be aware of progress. Appreciate any insights you may have. Thanks!
Unable to add Planner app to Teams
Hi, We're in the process of setting up a new system for a new company, and this problem occurred. We want to use Planner for tasks and Teams for communication. I'd like to add a planner tab to the general channel, but planner doesn't show up between the apps. Now I'm aware that it's not possible to add planner to private channels, but AFAIK our general channel is public. What could be wrong? My Workplace has recently adopted Microsoft teams and we are trying to move task management to Microsoft Teams. So for example we will use Planner to Receive entry letters in Admin section and send it to Procurement section and then to Finance section, etc. Is there a convenient way to create a documentation or procedure manual that can be viewed within Microsoft teams that shows the task routes that are set in my workplace?

Horizontal scroll in Teams App (Windows)
Hallo, i use Teams App in Windows 10 and also Browser. Starting Planner - if i have more Buckets than i can see on screen, i need to scroll horizontal. Right? It is really difficult, because the very small scrollbar on bottom is not easy to choose. So it is really unfriendly to use. On Smartphone i can scroll by using finger - swiping right or left and the buckets will horizontal move. In Trello - this i think is the example for microsoft to develop planner - i can swipe by using the mouse. Drag via pressing the mouse button and move the mouse left or right. Very easy - very user friendly. Also on Mac it is working like this with Trackpad (Macbook). But on PC with Windows using MS-Edge, Chrome, Explorer or Firefox - or also the Windows Teams App - it is not possible!!! I need to find the horizontal scrollbar to see more buckets, which are outside the screen. Very unfriendly. Is this a bug or feature? Please support this functionality for more user success. How do you mention someone in the comments section of a task? I've seen other queries about this dating back to 2017, and in 2019 Microsoft said they are working on it... so has this been done? Example: My colleague and I have been assigned a task - to upload content onto the website. In the checklist it notes my colleague will write the content, and then I will upload it. I'm trying to tag her in my comment to say, "@ let me know when the copy is ready for me to upload." Is there actually no way to do this?
