Missing presence status in Outlook
A couple of users don't see any presence status from Teams within Outlook. The checkbox within Teams is ticked but the option in Outlook is greyed out. It's working at half of the users (option in Outlook is available and ticked) and at the other half of the users it's not working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Teams presence showing "in a call" when not
I have a strange issue where Teams shows that I am "In a call" when I'm not. I've tried the "clear the Teams cache" suggestion, but that didn't make a difference. The presence is the same whether I'm on web Teams or desktop Teams. When I hover over my name in the chat window it shows "In a call - Free until 4:30 PM" When I use the "Reset Status" option, it eventually goes back to "In a call". I'm wondering if this is because I have full access (delegated permission) on conference room resources where there are meetings at that time. Could this possibly be the reason I am being shown as "In a call" even though my calendar is free at that time?
What are the Teams presence status change timings (away / offline)?
Teams changes the status automatically if a user is away or offline. But can you help me out with the timings of these automatic changes for being away and being offline. I didn't find anything on the docs https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/presence-admins Thanks
Presence display in MS Teams and Skype for Business when using Outlook
Now I have some customers who will use Teams and Skype for Business together. 1, I want to make sure the outlook presence will display to which app? 2, If there has some settings to make outlook presence refect to Teams or SfB? Hi everyone, I'm trying to build an app where I could listen for a change when the presence of current user is changed. For instance, when user switch from available to busy, do not disturb, be right back or appear away. I can't find a method in microsoft/teams-js sdk. Is there a way to do it? Also, I'm not sure if it is possible but is there a way where we could add a custom Presence separate from default Presence (available, busy, do not disturb, be right back and appear away)? then I can also add callback for this presence changed. It would be nice if this is possible. Please let me know. Thank you.
Some users still see the old contact number from sfb contact card
Hi Guys, I recently updated User's A phone number and I noticed that some of the user's from my organization still see the old contact number when checking User A contact card in Skype for business. I've already checked the user's contact information from the admin portal, azure ad, exchange and the number is updated. We're just syncing our users from Active Directory but no on-premise exchange/skype. I just want to check if someone here knows where is this contact number from sfb contact card is based from specifically. Hi, We are running SFB Online and interested to know if it is possible to change the presence status for federated users? For an example, users within my organization will see my current status, while for external organization users, I might want to set Busy, Away, Offline and so on for privacy reasons. Thanks.
