Please add "undo" feature to PDF inking
Add "undo" feature to PDF inking so that when we accidentally erase/remove something (inking, highlight etc) we be able to undo it, also would be useful to use the "undo" feature for when we add inking so instead of using eraser we just undo the action. the undo feature can either be tied to the usual CTRL + Z shortcut or a button on the PDF toolbar in Edge. (also sent using feedback button on Edge)Edge should have the ability to Resume Downloads after restarting the Edge browser or device
when I was using chrome few years ago, it also had this annoying limitation, now Edge (using latest available Edge canary) still has this problem. when you are downloading and pause your downloads, you can't restart the browser or device without losing your download progress, it will reset. this is really a fundamental problem, I've done my part which was sending feedback through Edge, if you are reading this and want the same thing, please send feedback from your browser and request this to be fixed. thank youFeature Request, Let us use one set of User/Pass for multiple Related domains in Edge password mgr
This is a useful feature that LastPass has. this would prevent from creating multiple duplicate entries in Edge password manager and also manage logins more efficiently. in LastPass it's called Equivalent domains, the description says: "Add domains that use the same login service. We've already listed popular sites that use shared credentials across domains under their control. For example: amazon.com and its local variations, or gmail.com and other google products." it's pretty clear, instead of saving 2 password entries for Facebook.com and Messenger.com , we use the same set of username and password for both websites. this also makes it easy when user changes password for one website, because the other one will be updated automatically. here are more real and important examples: a bit hard to share it through Edge feedback and also keep the proper formatting but i'll try. I just tested the latest Vivaldi browser and I really liked its features, they are very useful and some of them even were already requested in this forum by different users. The ability to resize only the UI using a slider. (so when I installed Vivaldi, the first thing I noticed was the small UI that was similar to Google chrome and I hated it, so i went to the settings and i was impressed there was this option that let me make the UI bigger without affecting zoom level of page contents) Vivaldi has big tab previews like Edge classic and it can Also be resized using mouse, so technically not like Edge classic but better than that because user can resize the previews. a side bar that user can add any website to and use it without going to other tabs. (I added my Instagram and Twitter feeds to the side bar so i can check them while browsing other websites.) Vivaldi lets me choose different themes and colors for the browser regardless of my Windows 10 accent color, this is super helpful. The ability to move the whole tab bar area to bottom/left/right/top. it's like Windows 10 when you can put your whole Taskbar to the left/right/top/bottom. All of these customizations happen without the need for a browser restart. Websites change the color of the browser UI. going to YouTube turns the UI red, going to Twich turns the UI to purple, Amazon and IMDB make it yellow, Facebook makes it dark blue and so on. Edge has this capability but it only applies to sites that are added as app (PWAs). this needs to be the default behavior of Edge so that it will feel more real when visiting a website. also for example if there are 4 tabs open (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Amazon), switching to each tab also changes the UI color. in Vivaldi the default search engine is Bing which I really liked and again was impressed! Lots of mouse gestures, custom controls and everything. it's a simple looking browser but with advanced and detailed settings page. there is no useless thing in Vivaldi that I could complain about. The ability to stack up tabs to get a meaningful view of the tab bar when user has more than 30 tabs open which is very normal these days. I tested Vivaldi on Windows Sandbox because it was my first time so I played it safe but now I'm installing it directly on my computer to use it besides Edge until the new Edge has all of these super useful features. I should mention that Vivaldi does not have PDF inking or highlighting.Please Allow us to send custom screenshots when sending Feedback with Smiley button!
it's really important because there are many bugs and issues that need a certain situation to be produced but when the user clicks on the Smiley button to take screenshot and write the feedback report, that situation and opportunity to record it will be gone. so we need to use another tool like the Windows 10's built in Snip and Sketch app with the help of Print screen key to record that right moment. using print screen key doesn't include mouse clicks so it's the perfect way to catch that nasty bug.Add Audio-only blocking to Media autoplay blocking in Edge browser
Currently the media Auto-play blocking options (Allow, Limit, Block) only apply to Videos. but what if we want the video to be auto-played, but its audio be muted by default? so I think these options needed to be added to that settings page which also has lots of vacant space left to be filled with useful options. edge://settings/content/mediaAutoplay Block Audio Block Video Block Audio and Video (should also block Auto-Buffering/preloading of media)
