4 TopicsRemoving students from Team created class notebooks
Here's an interesting one: When a new student is added to a Team, they also arrive in class notebook. But when they are removed from the Team, they remain in the notebook. When you go to 'add or remove students' via the desktop add-in, the notebook concerned isn't in the available list. Is it just us or has anyone else found this? Afternoon all, I am having some trouble mapping an exsisting Class OneNote Notebook to a new Team that I have created for home learning. When picking the class the Error 'We ran into a problem. Please check if the notebook belongs to that class.' appears. I have tried using both the Windows 10 App and the Online Version. Any help would be really appreciated. Please see screenshot attached. I am trying to map an existing class notebook to a new team I just made in Microsoft teams and I keep getting the error message "We ran into a problem. Please check if the notebook belongs to that class.". Does anyone know how to fix this. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.1.9KViews0likes3CommentsA Team's Class Notebook - the Notebook "Name"
I'm undertaking some extensive testing of the Class Notebook creation and ongoing management within a Microsoft Team - in particular a "Classroom" Team as per the first choice on the Create Team Wizard. If you use the [Edit Team] option to change the name of a Team (after the class notebook has been created) - for example there is a Teacher change half way through a semester and you change the name of the team from Science - Year 9 Jones to Science - Year 9 Smith - all the references in the Team are updated... BUT.... the Class Notebook for that Team appears to maintain the original name - eg in the OneNote 2016 Desktop Application. Have others witnessed this? Is this a feature or an oversight?1.4KViews0likes1Comment
