Since last week we are experiencing an issue with creating booking appointments when isLocationOnline is set to true. The booking is created in MS Bookings but the Graph API returns a 500 Internal Server Error without any further details and the customer doesn't receive the confirmation email, only the reminders. With isLocationOnline set to false the Graph API returns a proper booking appointment response and the customer receives the confirmation email. But no teams link is being created, which is the whole point. We have a test environment where it still works with the same payload. We've double checked all Business and Service rules and made sure the service linked to the appointment is set up to allow online sessions. The strange thing is that Microsoft's own service booking page also returns an Internet Server Error when creating an appointment through their UI. Example request with the culprit highlighted in bold: curl --location 'https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/solutions/bookingBusinesses/{businessId}/appointments' \ --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \ --header 'Authorization: Bearer ••••••' \ --data-raw '{ "@odata.type": "#microsoft.graph.bookingAppointment", "customerTimeZone": "W. We have an issue similar to this post: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/choose-an-organiser-for-meetings-booked-in-bookings/m-p/3262100/thread-id/3321 We have a booking calendar which is set up with services that have group bookings slots with Teams links. The intention is for when these are booked, we can then break the group in to Breakout Rooms on the day. The problem is that in testing, we haven't found a way to actually allow us to use this option. The organiser of these meetings is the booking calendar itself from the links created, this being automated by the app. What I'd like to know is, has anyone who's been in a similar situation managed to find to either switch on Breakout rooms using the app, or allow the organiser to be swapped so we can manually do it? I'm just surprised if this is a general issue, because I would expect this feature to be used by organisations. Any ideas?438Views1like1CommentParticipant Email id missing in Meeting Participants list
Every time a customer books a slot using Bookings, the invite which come to me on outlook doesnot have the customer email id in the Participant list. It is embedded in the notes. This makes any rescheduling impossible directly using Outlook Calendar. Any solution or workaround ?29Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Bookings automatically create Teams meeting with a particular meeting template.
Is it possible to assign specific meeting template (ex. always recording meeting) to meetings created through Bookings? For now, we change meeting settings by hand for each of the meeting made through Bookings and the ability to use templates would significantly save us time.1.5KViews0likes4CommentsBookings doesn't create a Teams meeting - even if toggle Add Online Meeting is on
Hello everyone, I have the problem that no Teams-Meetings are created for a customer from Bookings. The Add Online Meeting toggle is enabled. The meeting is entered as a normal meeting in the calendar of the employee. My customer uses Microsoft Business Basis and Microsoft Business Standard as licenses. - Outlook Web Access is enabled. - Users are authorized to use Bookings. - Users have the status "Bookable" in Bookings. - Users can easily create online meetings in Teams. I look forward to your help. Kind regards Christine Trzaska320Views0likes0CommentsTime Off Slots Not Showing Properly In Outlook/Teams
Time off slots are not showing properly on Outlook... Maybe Teams as well. It seems there is a maximum of 3 slots that appear at once while using the Outlook app (dark mode image below) when Teams is capable of up to 5 slots (light mode image below). Beyond 5, Teams only shows 4. How do I get Bookings to increase the number of time off slots that are visible in Outlook and Teams? Or at least give me a (+2 more) so I can see that there is additional information? There is no settings section to change font size, number of slots, or additional information options.222Views0likes0CommentsDiscrepancy in Teams Meeting Links Between Staff and Attendees
As the IT director of a private school serving 200 students, we've been utilizing MS Bookings for the past two years to manage our online Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC). However, this month, without changing any settings in the configuration, we've encountered a significant issue. The Teams meeting link in our staff calendar differs from the link sent out in the confirmation emails received by our customers. Essentially, staff members adding appointments to their Teams calendars are directed to one meeting room, while attendees accessing the link provided in their confirmation emails are directed to a different meeting room. This inconsistency has led to huge confusion and inconvenience for both our staff and the families we serve. Initially, I attributed the problem to a glitch, as parents found themselves waiting indefinitely in the lobby while staff members were unable to see them in the designated meeting room. However, upon closer examination, it became evident that the discrepancy lay in the links themselves. Upon conducting research, it appears that many other business users are encountering the same issue, but I don’t see any reference to an explanation. I can confirm that no changes were made to these meetings on our end; they were not edited or rescheduled, the problem seemed to arise spontaneously and on a large scale. To circumvent the issue, each teacher had to manually send the correct link from their calendars to every family, amounting to approximately 200 families. If you find yourself facing a similar challenge, I invite you to join me in this discussion and share your thoughts/tips. Additionally, I would like to inquire with Microsoft: has this bug been identified and is there a resolution in progress? Users have been consistently reporting this issue since 2022.1.5KViews2likes7CommentsBookings Not Adding Teams Meetings for One Staff Member
Hello, We are using Bookings for our parents to sign up for Parent-Teacher Interviews. We have been using it for the past few years. When parents book with one of our teachers, the system does not provide a link. The settings for this teacher are exactly the same as every other teacher so I am not sure why this is happening. How do I fix? And how do I add teams meetings to all of her current bookings without having to cancel what's already been booked.649Views0likes1CommentChoose an organiser for meetings booked in bookings
I am using Bookings to create events for multiple people that a member of staff then hosts as online meeting in Teams. However, as the staff member is not the meeting Organiser (this is the bookings app I assume as it shows the organiser as the company) The person running the meeting cannot access the necessary features as they are not the organiser! any ideas how if there is a way to change this default behaviour in books?4.1KViews1like5Comments
