I have two questions: 1. If a person leaves the company, will stream video (set as no expiration) removed automatically? 2. If a person leaves the company, will a copy (not original video) of a stream video removed? We have a habit of keeping videos in one consolidated area with custom label that is understood by team members.I thought we'd be able to use Stream for playing videos on Teams meetings without lag but we can't?
From everything I've read, we should be able to host a video on SharePoint or OneDrive in order to share it in a teams meeting. It doesn't seem like this feature works. Stream isn't an app available in the apps list unless I use the one available in the chat window. If I select Microsoft Stream from the chat apps, it asks me to post a link to share with the meeting. When I input my video link from sharepoint, it gives the error "Please enter a valid Stream URL." It should be a valid URL. We've tested this numerous time with numerous settings, but even if we set it so that anyone with the link can view the video, it won't let us use the sharepoint link (from mysharepoint.com) to Stream on a Teams meeting. We can't watch videos by sharing our screens or windows because it lags too much. The only current solution we have is to use the YouTube app which seems to work better than the Microsoft ones. Is there a solution for this?2.6KViews0likes4CommentsUpload, strcuture new videoes in sharepoint for a large org.
We have migrated all Company Wide channel videos and created a shared SharePoint site for people to upload new videos so we have common sites where people can easily acsess and upload. However, we are a large organization with over 22,000 employees. Do you have recommendations on how we should structure this, how folders should be organized? We don't want to give everyone access to manage all the folders in that area, but they should be able to upload and view, so how can the functionality be similar to the old Stream, allowing for an easier way to publish a "public" video? Do you have any recommendations for this? Is there a another easier way?345Views0likes0CommentsGenerate transcript with speaker name in Microsoft streams
Hi , I tried to generate transcript for video on Microsoft Stream. All looks good except that it is not showing the speaker's name. When I downloaded the .vtt file, I saw there is time corresponding to each chat. Is there any way by which I can get the speaker name as well with each chat ? One more question I have is what does GUID corresponds to in .vtt file ? Any kind help will be much appreciated. Thanks, MehakMicrosoft Stream in Teams: Create group not available in menu bar
Dear all, until now in our M365 tenant it was possible for our staff members to create new groups in Microsoft Stream. Now users who were able to do this before, do not see Create -> Group in the menu bar any more. As tenant admin I still can see Create -> Group. What has changed? What are the necessary permissions for users to be able to do this? Best, MSolvedMicrosoft Stream in Teams Create group not available in menu bar

When our videos moved over from Microsoft Video to Stream, we ended up with lots of groups. I'd like to consolidate some of these groups into a single group with multiple channels. Is there a way to move (relabel?) dozens of videos at the same time? I'd be happy even if I have to do it one group at a time as opposed to one video at a time.
