Hi Everyone, We use Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Phone System with Calling Plans. This is our single phone system for everything, we do not have any other PSTN, SIP Trunks, nothing. Is it at all possible to somehow connect an analogue phone line to this environment? We own an AudioCodecs VE SBC and have an MP-112 ATA, Our AudioCodecs SBC is connected to Teams with Direct Route, but since we use Calling Plans..we don't really know where to go from here or if it's even possible. In an ideal world, we would provision a user in our AD, give it a phone number from Microsoft Calling Plans, and then have that phone number be the number of an analogue device (FAX). Any inbound and outbound faxes would go through the Calling Plans from Microsoft. I just want to know if that's even possible? I have attached the picture I modified from some AudioCodecs documentation. Since we use Calling Plans, everything is in the Microsoft Bubble on the right. I am trying to understand the call flow when a Skype for Business implementation (all on prem) uses a teams auto attendant. This is what I know auto attendant number = +1-555-555-1234 555-555-1234 routed from PSTN across SIP trunk to on prem Skype for business Skype for Business sends the call to teams over the internet to connect with an auto attendant. Auto attendant plays a call tree recording and disconnects User can press DTMF selection to be "sent" to a number on premises. This is where I get confused... The call flow is configured to use "user in organization" that is essentially another number that is routed over our SIP trunk. Does Teams proxy a call that comes back over the SIP trunk to terminate in a call queue in Skype for Business on Prem? Hello All, I am attempting to deploy the Teams Room Deployment kit via the CreateSRSMedia.ps1 script and I am running into some troubles finding the correct version of Windows OS build to use with the latest SRS Deployment Toolkit. When running the script, with the following Windows installation media, I get the following error: Your Windows installation media is version 10.0.19041.867. Your SRSv2 kit requires version 10.0.18362.418. Please enter the path to the root of your Windows install media: I am currently using Win_Pro_10_20H2.5_64BIT_English_Ent ISO which was downloaded from the Volume Licensing Center. What is confusing me is, what is version 10.0.19041.867 and what is SRSv2 version 10.0.18362.418? Also, how do we determine which SRS kit we use for which build? Also, I downloaded the latest version of the CreateSRSMedia script as well. I am hoping ANYONE can re-direct me to the correct OS build for the latest SRS Deployment Toolkit, 4.8.19.0?1.5KViews0likes2CommentsFind Time Auto Schedule Online Meetings - Switched to Teams
This week users started reporting that when they auto schedule an online meeting with Find Time the meeting invites are no longer sending with the Skype for Business log-in information - it's now Teams. We were in coexistence mode for testing and have switched back to Skype for Business only. But Find Time meetings are still sending Teams information. I'm hoping with time the setting change will propagate. but not holding my breath? I haven't seen any communication about this change, did I miss something? Anything I can do to get Find Time to default back to Skype for Business? Hi, I'm happy to announce we have just released an updated Network Assessment Tool for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. Download link is: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53885 (version 2017.1.0.51) This new version has the following new features: Perform connectivity test to all of the IP addresses and ports used in Microsoft Teams calls/meetings. This enables you to ensure the firewalls or other network equipment are correctly configured. The tool auto updates the list, so if any addresses or ports changed, the next time the tool is run, the new addresses will be included. Tool is now delivered as an .exe which will install the appropriate runtime dependencies. This should help ensure the tool runs as expected. As part of this, the default path the output files are written to has changed. Updates to support changes in relay management Refer to the usage.docx file included with the tool for usage/etc. Important: Starting around 12/15, older versions of the tool may stop working and will report an issue with the relay configuration. Please update accordingly. Hi everyone, I've had a good search of other posts and can't find anything so putting up a new conversation. We're working with a customer who has offices in Europe. They run Office 365 E5 with Skype for Business and Calling Plans. Everything works great there. They also have a number of offices in APAC where they currently run legacy PBXs. We've got a SIP partner in APAC that can offer SIP trunks with numbers in the relevant countries. We plan on terminating these onto an SBC then configuring Direct Routing for Teams. This would all be within the same Office 365 tenancy. My question is, can you use Calling Plans and Direct Routing within the same Office 365 tenancy in this way? Hi, We started our migration from Skype on-premise to Skype online using an Hybrid Voice scenario (at the beginning). Now, with the Teams roadmap, we are in some doubt :-) What is the best migration path frome Skype on-premise to Teams Online ? Will we continu our migration to Skype Online ? Another question about client usage enforcement ; Side by side – use both Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams Side by side with notify – use both; notify Skype for Business users to try Microsoft Teams Teams only – enforce Microsoft Teams only How a Teams will be able to communicate (chat etc) with a Skype User (online or onpremise)? It will be possible or not ? Because in migration point of view, we don't want to "break" to communication between peoples because they don't use the same client.
