web capture

Now we have 3 features that require user to select a part of the screen to do tasks on it. I think now it's the time to merge these into 1 unified option. you select an area and then you will have different options to choose from, whether you want to make a Smart Copy, you want to just capture it as screenshot using Web Capture, or you want to scan it for equation to run on Math solver. instead of 3 distinct buttons on Edge toolbar and 3 distinct options either in (...) menu or right-click, just have 1 button, call it something suitable, a multip-purpose button (i haven't come up with a good name yet).1.3KViews2likes2CommentsWeb Capture "copy" button should copy an image file, ready to be pasted into a folder
after using Web capture and snipping part of the screen, when you use the Copy button, you don't get an image file in the clipboard, you still need to open a new program like Paint to paste it in there and then save it as a file to desktop or folder. I'm suggesting to change this and simplify it, when we press Copy, then copy the actual image file ready to be pasted in a folder or desktop. you can still get the old way of copying if you press "add notes" and then press copy. I'm sending this as feedback using feedback button on Edge, if you like this, do the same. more feedback = higher priority11KViews4likes6CommentsNew Feature for Web Capture - Subscroller area selection
Normally you can't use Web Capture or Smart Copy in Edge to capture the contents of the 2nd scrollbar, but now you can with this new feature added under this flag in Edge Version 91.0.844.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) Subscroller area selection. When enabled, users will be able to select sections of subscrollers when using WebCapture or SmartCopy. – Mac, Windows, Linux #edge-subscroller-area-selection edge://flags/#edge-subscroller-area-selection2.5KViews2likes2CommentsSuggestion: enable Web Capture and Smart Copy in .pdf files.
--Sorry I'm using Google Translate-- --Sorry if I posted in the wrong place-- I noticed that it is possible to use the feature in images and videos, but it is not possible to use it in pdf. These two features are very useful. Please take into account enabling both features in .pdf files.1.7KViews2likes0CommentsWeb Capture Crashing the page
