Hi, When using Intune along with WHfB PIN, what is the best approach to disable sign-in to Windows PC (using WHfB PIN)? Wipe command is not an option in this case, we just need to block access to the PC and do it fast as possible. In my testing blocking user, revoke session, disabling device is not preventing user from using cached PIN to enter and use computer. Yes, it's signed out from Office apps etc, but still has access to local files. I think there should be command in Intune that will efficiently do this. Hello! I have what I hope is a fairly simple question. I am trying to run the Winget upgrade process using a Powershell script deployed in Intune. The problem is that it fails on laptops because it requires elevated privileges. It works for those who are local admins but not for those who are not. Has anyone deployed this successfully? Using the command below in the PS1 file.... winget upgrade -h --all Or as an alternative, has anyone any good advice running Winget from Intune across all users within a specific security group? Thanks all!Solved68Views0likes1CommentApp assignment - removing a required app
Dear community, I am cleaning up our Intune Apps for Windows - just for confirmation: when I remove the "Required" assignment, it does not take any action on the client, correct? I don't want to break anything and the inventory is very mixed, sometimes an MSI, sometimes a very old and somehow packaged EXE. Thank you and kind regards, EileenSolved31KViews1like9CommentsIntune Fresh start Windows not loading
Hello everyone, One of our company devices is currently unable to load Windows. I'm looking to perform a fresh start via Intune, but due to Windows failing to load, this isn't feasible at the moment. As we're operating remotely, I attempted to guide my colleague through a Windows recovery process. We tried a local recovery, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. Cloud recovery isn't an option either because she lacks a LAN cable and can't connect to the internet. Is our only viable solution to manually reinstall Windows?1.4KViews0likes1CommentImporting the Purchase Order ID for an Autopilot Device
I can see in the Windows Autopilot devices menu, there is a tab for 'Purchase Order'. I have searched what CSV headers would let you import this information but I cannot find the correct one? I did try 'OrderID' but that attaches the Purchase Order to the 'Group Tag'. Please could someone advise what CSV header is required to import the Purchase Order with a device? Many ThanksSolved5.9KViews0likes13CommentsUnable to deploy PowerShell scripts to a newly co-managed device with Intune
Hi there, I am having issues deploying a PowerShell script through Intune to a device that has recently become co-managed with Configuration Manager. The CCM client was successfully installed and uses a CMG when off-network. The user logs into the device with a local admin account not a domain account. This MS guide states that the Client Apps workload in ConfigMgr doesn't need to be switched to Intune for PowerShell scripts when running on Windows 10 clients newer than 1903. But in case, I have moved the Client Apps workload to Pilot Intune with a device collection containing my device. Intune acknowledges this and displays the correct Intune Managed Workloads on the device overview screen. Even with this switched, I noticed the issue also impacts Win32 and LoB applications too. I cannot get any new applications to push down to the device anymore (since becoming co-managed) despite the workload supposedly being managed by Intune. The other workloads such as Device Configuration can be correctly controlled with Intune as tested with several configuration policies. Running the same script manually on the device worked as expected. Pushing the script to a separate device that isn't co-managed, only AADJ, also worked as expected. I've also tried targeting the script to a user security group instead of a device based group to no avail. I would appreciate any help on this. Hi everyone, We started working with Autopilot. When we used SCCM to deploy a computer the OS was EN-US. Now we want to know if there is a way to change an already installed OS language to EN-US. For example, a person bought an HP laptop in France, the OS that HP installed on the computer would probably be customized to French beforehand. meaning the users folder name would be in French. My question is if there is any way to change everything to EN-US even though it was installed as French. I don't talk about changing the international settings of the computer. I am talking about changing everything to default EN-US. Rahamim.Solved22KViews0likes7Comments
