This week is the second week of the Generative AI Level Up Tuesdays Reactor series, as well as the accompanying MS Learn challenge!

In the session we hosted last Tuesday, we moved from theory to practice, by showcasing with an e-2-e RAG sample built with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search Service and Prompty. Did you miss it? Catch it up here.

What's next? Next Tuesday 18th February at 9AM PST (6PM CET) we are going to host the 3rd episode of the series, where we are going to demystify the world of AI agents and provide an overview of the agents framework in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Also, you'll have the unique opportunity to interact with the speakers after the session in a community roundtable call on Discord. Join the community at https://discord.gg/uwUyWw9xdn and tune in on 19th February at 8AM PST (5PM CET) to get all your questions answered.

About this session:

Getting started with AI Agents in Azure

Artificial intelligence agents are everywhere—from chatbots and virtual assistants to autonomous systems making decisions on behalf of users. In this talk, we’ll demystify the concept of AI agents, exploring the core components that define them, their unique capabilities, and how they interact with users and environments in real time. We’ll break down popular AI agent frameworks, illustrate how agents can autonomously complete complex tasks by integrating with APIs and tools, and share insights into the latest advancements in agent intelligence.
