Dear Tech community. the outfalls of the implementation of this new licensing structure is hurting clients.
I bought early 2023 E3&E5 licenses through one of your resellers. It apparently turns out the 'invisible' / back-end' renewal process used between them and microsoft is to yearly resell net new licenses. This way I am not only being faced with a considerable price difference going forward, from renewel in early 2024 but i moreover seem to have lost major Teams meeting phone bridge functionality on the E5 license on top.
What is the process / escalation mechanism foreseen internally for microsoft ? I did escalate your partner, but they were not realy expecting getting any luck? I "simply" want to continue to use the ongoing E3 and E5 licenses & undo the fact of being brute forced to an EEA structure. Please consider the client experience here. The announcements of the EEA schedule to only impact net new clients seems not real, and it turns out is used as a major pricing upgrade for exsisting clients while moreover losing functionalities. Cannot be the intention ? Thx for your support here to get this to the right place ?
