Confused on the dispaly after "add lock" on storage
I am practising https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-cn/training/modules/describe-features-tools-azure-for-governance-compliance/5-exercise-configure-resource-lock. The display don't match the images. Steps: 1, create storage az900xliu under az900 resource group 2, Add lock lock1 on it 3, add container failed 4, navigate to az900:az900xliu:lock : NO LOCK here ( don't match the material) 5, navigate to az900:lock : lock1 is here 6, delete lock1 I repeated step 2-6 several times. And tried add lock2 under az900:az900xliu:lock, lock2 will disappear after navigate to other tab and back just like lock1. But, lock2 will NOT appear under az900:lock either. And, I tried add lock2 under az900:lock. It appears, but after navigate to other tab and back, it disappear. Really confused on these behavior. I tried create container after delete lock1(lock2 don't appear so I cannot delete). After click the link in error message, I navigate to az900:lock and two lock2 appear. Azure Policy, type Static
I am going through the Azure Policy documentation, while I understand all the 3 types mentioned in there. I couldn't see any policy with type set as static. I enabled NIST SP 800-53 R4 from Security Policy section in Defender for cloud, still I can't see any policy within this initiative, where type would be set to static. Azure Management Groups
I want to move an entire subscription to a different management group. There are multiple resources in the subscription. Mainly, the subscription contains VMs, VNETs and other related resources where they are used for Active Directory architecture. These are mainly domain controllers. Please suggest, if I want to move this subscription and others subscriptions dedicated mainly for Active Directory, what are the pros and cons of having this. Can we Configure AAD Roles assignment Automatically for few hours and expire?
Hi All, I would really appreciate your input into the following: Can we Configure AAD Roles assignment Automatically for few hours and expire? We have E5 licenses assigned to all users and upgraded AAD to P2. The Management is asking if it is possible with Azure AD Governance PIM feature that: We should have only two users as global Admins. All other Users who need Admin privilege from time to time may "request" AAD Role Assignment i.e. Sharepoint Administrator or Teams Administrator etc gets assigned automatically the role for a limited time like few hours and then this role expires(UnAssigned) automatically as well. When the Tech support L1 or L2 needs it again then request and get assigned for few hours again. Also For more critical roles like Application Administrator or Global Administrator the L1 / L2 support admins need to request the role and the role be manually assigned, for few hours, not months / year. Hello, it is possible to activate the Azure VM Autoshutdown Function with an Azure Policy? I found always articles with an DevTest Lab. But i would like to use an AZure Policy at the Production Subscription to can found VMs without an Azure AutoShutdown Configuration. Thanks. Greetings everyone, as in the title, is it possible to do such action? If yes, then what permissions does this user need to do so? Example: I have a resource group with 2 resource objects. Both of them have set up management locks. Now, is it possible to allow someone to modify/delete lock only on first object? Is there a better way to search by IP address in the portal? Both Public & Private?
I know that you can list the VM's and show the ip addresses on the VM list, but short of digging through every row finding a machine by ip is a pain. Private connected networks, I can ping it with a name resolution to get the name to search for that, but on the public side I can't, or for servers in a different network I can't.
