ROS 2 on Windows
Super cool to see the progress on ros2 since I ran it last ... what milestones in the next couple months are there on Windows / Azure that we can look out for? Also is the setup up to date (and does it work for vs17 as well)? I setup the environment a year ago but don't know if there any changes I should be aware ofSolvedpeppersFeb 27, 2024Microsoft6.9KViews1like2CommentsCertified for Azure IoT Program
The Certified for Azure IoT Program (Device certification) is a hardware certification program that is open to any hardware partners who want to certify their device hardware covering spectrum of intelligent edge devices (sensors , gateway, server class workstations etc.) by validating a device works with Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, and IoT Plug and Play (Public Preview). It allows partners to rapidly validate, list device capability and gain global visibility to Microsoft customers. Read More : Opera Crypto Wallet Certified IoT Hub devices, IoT Edge devices and pre-certified IoT Plug and Play devices get listed in the Device Catalog which allows customers to discover IoT Hub Device , IoT Edge Devices and Plug and Play devices that work with Azure. The catalog help to identify certified devices to customers, it includes Get Started document which is a step by step instruction for connecting the device to Azure IoT , Device Data sheets and Buy links to buy listed hardware for evaluation and creates a channel for partners to reach and engage new customers. Visit for tech related news and updates : Stech 24/7 Types of Certification IoT Hub Devices Certification IoT Hub Certification help customers and partners to ensure the device was tested to work with Azure IoT technology. IoT device gets validated for IoT hub primitives like Device to Cloud, Cloud to Device, Device Twin and Direct Methods. This is a baseline certification requirement which applies to any devices (IoT Edge or IoT Plug and Play) to ensure devices are provisioned to IoT Hub securely and capable of sending meaningful data. Hi, I have a query on Azure iot Hub, Will Azure iot Hub get deprecated sooner? Because i could see the some post related to depreciation of Azure iot Hub. 1) https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/azure-iot-hub-on-azure-stack-hub-preview-will-be-retired-and-it-will-not-go-to-ga/?cdn=disable#:~:text=On%2030%20September%202022%2C%20the,to%20Azure%20IoT%20Edge%20gateway. 2) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/overview/azure/iot/management/management-iothub%28deprecated%29?view=azure-dotnet Due these post, it makes to say this question.SolvedPavithvishnuAug 30, 2023Copper Contributor4.6KViews0likes4CommentsProof of concept- azure iot center
Hello friends. I am new to azure but not new to iot-dev. My question is more of a theoretical nature. We as a bussines in the industry wanna build a solution for our costumer to control and track some sensor data of their device. At the end of the journey we wanna offer to our costumers the following: user A can login with their account and track and and controll their specific devices. User B can do the same with their devices and so on. We as a service manage to „add“ their devices to the iot-world (with a hardware device that we have build) and manage the useroles to their devices. For this we will collect a small fee/month my question now. Has someone exp. If azure iot center is the right tool to follow? Our first plan (until now) is to build our own webapplication. But from what i researched until now about azure center,m should have everything what we need to fullfill our goal? has anyone thoughts about it? I am happy to hear them thank youSolvedNazroAug 16, 2022Copper Contributor1KViews0likes2CommentsBad links in Azure IoT Central's create new export screen

Hi everyone! I have been studying integration between IoT Hub to external applications and the available endpoints and SDKs. AFAIK, the current suitable way to externally read telemetry data from IoT Hub is through the Event Hub compatible built-in endpoint. Besides that, the example I found use it. Like this one: Real-time data visualization of your IoT hub data in a web app | Microsoft Docs But, for this purpose, one would use the Event Hub SDK. See EventHubConsumerClient class | Microsoft Docs. I was wondering if we couldn't do the same using the Azure IoT Hub SDKs | Microsoft Docs. From the Git Hub repository, I can only see C2D messaging support, but taking a deeper look at ServiceReceiver class | Microsoft Docs I thought that maybe this is an alternative. Does anyone has some info to share about this? Pros, cons? If my understanding is right?SolvedsaramonteiroJan 10, 2022Copper Contributor960Views0likes2CommentsThreadX CAN BUS support
Dear Sir/Madam, Hello, I thank you very much for establishing excellent embedded systems development environment with ThreadX, fileX, USBX, GUIX etc. We would like to use your tools with NXP i.mxrt117x series of processors for simple IVI/Cluster device. I wonder if threadX supports CAN BUS directly or indirectly over CMSIS functions? Thanks and best regards.
