Not able to login to learn.microsoft.com on Edge Browser
I have a learn.microsoft.com profile since many years now. Now, when I try to get on learn.microsoft.com, I get message Hit next Hit Next Changed my country and hit save Hit yes connect finally Even after all these steps, next time I come any credentials page like: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/ I am prompted with the same above flow.
Issues with latest windows update (January 2024)
Hi All, we are getting multiple report about Windows latest patch January 2024 the KBs are getting failed to install. There were detail provided for the KB5034441 having issue and provided the script to fix it. However, we are getting report that other KB KB5034122, KB5033920 getting failed. Also after applying the update devices are getting stuck at 7%.
Possible virus - discoloured bookmarks icons in Edge and Chrome
Hi I think my desktop and laptop may be infected with a virus - in both edge and chrome icons are appearing with discoloration (please see photo) - It is happening on the laptop as well as desktop. It's the youtube icon that is altered but some others are changed too - when hovering over the the other icons they appear normal. Apart from these discoloured icons all other computer functions seem ok. I've done a full scan with defender and malware bytes and they were both clear - can anyone recommend what next steps should be taken? EDIT: Forgot to say my laptop is running Windows 10 and desktop is running Windows 11.Any updates on the Xbox Game Core?
The technology in Windows kernel or core, called Game Core. which lets PC users install the Same Xbox games on their Windows 10 systems. Microsoft tested this with the game State of Decay 1. but that's just it, no news for months. the Kernel of Windows 10 has seen lots of changes such as the Linux kernel being added to it and now the compatibility with Xbox kernel. Demote a 2019 server - problem
I want to demote one of our 2 DC's in preparation for server replacement. Replication between the two works fine and both DNS's are synced and up-2-date. But when I run the wizard, I need to check that "This is the last DNS server" which is not true. If not, I can't proceed to the next step (Next becomes greyed out). As an experiment, I did this last week and it resulted in a domain where no client could logon, and no file shares was working on the remaining DC/File server. So I restored both backups to get back in business. I do not want to repeat this again. I have browsed the complete DNS tree for the forward zone and everything looks fine to me (SRV, NS etc records)
