To remove Bing Chat or disable its features, you can follow these general steps:
Sign in to Your Microsoft Account:
Make sure you are signed in to your Microsoft account associated with Bing Chat.
Access Bing Chat Settings:
Go to the Bing homepage (www.bing.com).
Look for the Bing Chat icon or option on the page. It's usually located in the top right corner.
Click on the Bing Chat icon or select the option that allows you to access Bing Chat settings.
Disable or Remove Bing Chat:
Within the Bing Chat settings, you should find options to disable or remove Bing Chat. The specific wording and options may vary, but you may see choices like:
"Turn off Bing Chat"
"Remove Bing Chat"
"Disable Bing Chat"
"Opt out of Bing Chat"
Confirm Your Choice:
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your decision to disable or remove Bing Chat. You may be asked to confirm your action through a pop-up or confirmation dialog.
Save Changes:
After confirming, save your changes to disable or remove Bing Chat from your Bing experience.
Please note that the availability of these settings and the specific steps to disable Bing Chat may change over time as Microsoft updates its services. If you can't find these options on the Bing website, you can also try reaching out to Microsoft's customer support for assistance on how to disable or remove Bing Chat from your account.

ibrahim_shah1155 It appears that the option to turn off Bing Chat no longer exists. Bing Chat is now being forced on us.

The initial suggestion that helped me work out this solution came from an iPhone user at the Microsoft Community-Bing Forum.
To disable Bing Chat in Android phone:
1. Start Edge
2. In the address bar, enter edge://flags
3. In the Search box, enter #edge-discover
4. Disable all entries for Chat (currently 7 on 10/22/2023)
5. Return to the home screen
6. Close Edge
7. Restart (reboot) your phone.
8. If Edge (Bing search) functionality is undesireable, go back and re-enable one function, then complete steps 5 through 8.

Good afternoon! If you want to disable Bing Chat results or summaries from Bing Search, you can adjust your search engine settings. Here's how you can do it:
-
Web Browser Search Settings (For Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.):
a. Open your web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
b. Go to the search engine's homepage
c. Perform a search.
d. Look for an option to access search settings. This is typically represented by a gear or three vertical dots (ellipsis) icon. Click on it.
e. In the settings menu, you should see an option related to search results or search preferences. Click on it.
f. Look for an option related to Chat results or summaries. It may be called something like "Show Chat results" or "Show Chat summaries." Disable or uncheck this option to turn off Chat results.
g. Save your changes if prompted.
-
Browser Extensions:
Sometimes, browser extensions or add-ons can modify search results. Check your installed browser extensions and disable or remove any that might be causing unwanted search results.
-
Change Default Search Engine:
If you're using a search engine other than Bing, you can change your default search engine to one that doesn't include Chat results. For example, you can set Google as your default search engine if you prefer.
-
Use Search Operators:
When conducting searches, you can use search operators to narrow down your results. For instance, if you don't want Chat results, you can add -chat to your search query to exclude them. For example, if you're searching for "technology news" but don't want Chat results, you can search for "technology news -chat."
Remember that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on your web browser and search engine. If you're still encountering Chat results after making these changes, it's possible that Bing or your chosen search engine has updated its interface, and the option to disable Chat results may have moved. In that case, you might want to check the help or support section of the search engine's website for the most up-to-date instructions.

Not really working as that only disables the automatic within the search page on the right with Bing Chat responding as a chat.. though the feature you said above does work but still gives summaries instead of a chat response.
