Microsoft Word Community Hub AWOL
What has happened to the Microsoft Word Community Hub? It is no longer accessible and does not appear in the list of Community Hubs?

Thank you all for flagging this. The Word Community should be fully accessible again!
We are currently looking at ways for us to best surface content to our Word customers, and thank you all for your patience.
Cheers,
Dylan

Certainly, Doug!
The Word community is one of our original communities created when the Microsoft Tech Community was first made! We're looking at ways to "update" or breath new life into this community. Which creates a perfect opportunity!
If you could see anything updated about the Word community, what would it be?- Feb 10, 2023
Hi Dylan,
Another great improvement would be, when there are multiple replies to a post, to have the most recent reply appear, rather than the first. For example there is a response dated February 9 to the post shown in the following screen shot (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/word/word-blocked-macros/m-p/3618266) and it is necessary to click on the View all # replies link and the scroll down through all of the replies to see the most recent response.

I believe that the most recent reply used to be at the top and that the behavior has changed a while back. A bug in the forum software, perhaps?

Dylan_Snodgrass Hi Dylan,
Can we have support added for .dotx and .dotm file types?
I could understand if .dotm (macro-enabled) was not allowed except for the support being provided for the following file types that can contain macros\VBA code: - docm, accdb, and xlsm,
- Feb 02, 2023Hi Dylan,
One improvement would be if the "full text editor" was the default for both new questions\discussions and replies. It is very common to have to ask the OP to provide access to a document and in many cases, they have to be shown that they need to click on the Open full text editor link so that they can do that.

I agree with Doug on this. The "full" editor should be the default.
I am guessing that posters not finding the full editor might be a challenge not just in the Word category, but elsewhere in the TechCommunity as well.
