[Fixed] Edge Canary Automatically Closing - Version 80.0.316.0

Same issue here. Turning off sync fixed it, but is obviously a band aid solution. I'm sure a fix will be forthcoming:)
maybe try the url -> edge://settings/profiles
and sync > and sync turn off now button

norbertwell OK - so if you're quick enough THAT works. It takes too long to get to the settings normaly, so copy pasting that into browser as soon as it opens, then taking 2-3 tries to move my mouse fast enough to sign out, then another 2-3 tries to sign-out fast enough - finally worked.
You have to complete the sign out in 2 seconds. And it's Launch -> Paste -> Click Sign-out -> Click that you're sure to sign out.

The issue is sync and no amounts of re-installs or repairs will fix it. You need to launch in private by pinning Canary to the taskbar, clicking right mouse button, and being fast enough to log out by pasting edge://settings/profiles in the address bar and clicking "sign out"
5 years later and this keeps being an issue in Edge. Amazing - This worked, thanks!
chriscata if you can't get into InPrivate mode, you can also resolve it by disabling wifi and then launching edge and disabling sync. That works for me.
- They pulled .316 build from the servers, so if any of you still have problem, you can try uninstalling your Canary and reinstall it again, you will be back to build .315

Also there is another crash happens when you right-click the back button, and is still in the build even after you reinstall it, so please try to avoid doing that for now
