Terrible mic quality on teams even with a good microphone

I have a RODE NT-USB microphone and use it on teams, however the quality in calls is terrible. I have tried every troubleshooting step possible to no avail. On discord the mic is perfect and no issues whatsoever. I even bought a new mic, AT2500X USB, and the same problem exists. I know my bandwidth is not an issues as i have fibre internet and a high spec pc. What is the issue and is there a fix? Thanks.

    Hi navfern03  First I would comment that you'll want to check to see if this device is on the Teams-enabled list. Microsoft Teams enabled devices

     

    Second, since there has been no response yet from this community, I recommend that you contact Microsoft support or answers.microsoft.com, where support agents are available to help troubleshoot issues until resolution.
