Cannot delete shared files
I have shared a folder with hundreds of photos with two people and given them edit rights. Neither one of them has the option to "delete" photos (our goal is to mutually cull hundreds of photos down ...

You seem to be using "anonymous/anyone" type of link, Deleting items is indeed not available for such links, even if you selected "edit" when creating it.

The truth is that, if you’ve ever had a folder shared with you in OneDrive, only for the owner to later unshare it, —it NEVER DISAPPEARS from your “Shared” section.
As of today, regardless of the solutions suggested online or any actions taken by either the FOLDER OWNER OR THE RECIPIENT, it seems IMPOSSIBLE to remove the folder from your shared list.
I’ve personally tested this issue multiple times, following various troubleshooting steps recommended across forums and support pages, but the result remains the same: THE FOLDER STAYS STUCK IN THE SHARED LIST.
Whether this is an intentional design choice by Microsoft or an overlooked bug is unclear. However, given how EASY IT IS TO REPRODUCE, it’s surprising that it hasn’t been addressed. If you’ve encountered the same issue, let’s bring more attention to it and hopefully get a response from Microsoft.
