email templates that store mail adresses in 'To' and 'Cc'
Is it possible to create e-mail templates that have contacts in the 'To' and 'Cc' boxes? The current template functionality only allows you to store the body of the mail, not persons copies of the te...
You can create an email template with these fields populated only in Outlook Classic.
- Open Outlook and start a new email.
- Fill in the “To” and “CC” fields with the desired email addresses.
- Compose your email as you usually would, including the subject and body.
- Save the email as a template:
- Go to the File menu.
- Select Save As.
- In the “Save as type” dropdown, choose Outlook Template (*.oft).
- Give your template a name and save it.
The ability to create an email template in the New Outlook app is coming later in the year or early 2025. However, you can use an existing classic template in New Outlook. Watch this video for details.
