Facing Issues with Insider Preview (27808.1000)
Hello,
I’m facing an issue where my graphics application (Autodesk Fusion 360) only works when I disable my NVIDIA graphics driver. However, as soon as I enable the driver, the application stops working.
System Details:
GPU Model: NVIDIA 1650
Operating System: Windows 11 Insider Preview 27808.1000 (rs_prerelease)
Driver Version: NVIDIA Driver Version 572.70
Application Affected: Autodesk Fusion 360, OpenSCAD
Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried:
Reinstalled the NVIDIA Driver (Used a clean installation from the official NVIDIA website).
Tried Rolling Back the Driver (If a newer update caused the issue).
Checked NVIDIA Control Panel Settings (Set preferred GPU to NVIDIA, power management to maximum performance).
Verified Windows Updates (Ensured my OS is up to date).
Checked for Application-Specific Compatibility Issues.

1. Compatibility settings
Right-click on the application → Properties → Compatibility → Check “Run as administrator” → Try compatibility mode (e.g. Windows 10).
Update/Reset Graphics Card Driver
2. Manual update: Download the latest driver via NVIDIA official website and install it.
Completely uninstall and reinstall: Use DDU tool to uninstall the driver in Safe Mode and reinstall it after reboot.
3. Adjust Graphics Configuration
4. Disable DirectStorage:
gpedit.msc → Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Storage → Disable DirectStorage.
5. Disable Hardware Acceleration: Turn off the relevant options in the application settings.
System updates and switching channels
6. Check for Windows Insider updates (Settings → Windows Update).
If the problem persists, temporarily switch to a stable version of the system for testing.
