Reviving a laptop with an old Insider Preview
The laptop (Dell XPS 15 9560) was enrolled in the Insider program when I stopped using it due to technical issues. I finally resolved the problem and want to use it again. It's currently running Windows 10 Insider Preview 19645.1 (mn_release), installed in June 2020 and it's working great, but it's throwing an 'about to expire' error upon bootup and periodically during use.
The laptop does not qualify for Windows 11, and Insider will not provide updated Windows 10 previews. I guess i need to move to the last regular release of Windows 10 Pro, but I'm unsure of how to proceed. Advice would be appreciated. I can't find the original product key, if that maqtters. Thanks.

You can try rolling back to a stable version of Windows 10 by following these steps:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery.
- Click the “Get started” button under “Go back to an earlier build” if it’s available.
- After rolling back, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program and tell Windows to stop giving you Insider Preview builds
If you want to switch to the stable build of Windows 11, you can follow the steps in this How-To Geek article
I hope this helps!
