- HelloBenTeohBronze ContributorHey, just watched this on YouTube. The Community Learning channel is great and it’s good having a chat to engage with at different times. Hope to see more people using TechCommunity. Nice one 👍

❤️❤️❤️❤️ - great call folks! (Ok i am clearly biased!) - Eliot_ColeIron Contributor
Are the 'mainline' Community calls going to follow this YouTube first approach? Which is great for inclusivity and being seen.
Or will we still keep the Teams approach ... which allows us to chat a bit between us.
- Eliot_ColeIron Contributor
I believe it is possible to have both, though.
There's some great stuff that can be done even with free tools like OBS where you can stream live to one platform, but also have a Teams presentation running.
I mention this because (with the greatest of respect) these methods of 'joining in' (comments / forums) are not particularly fast / easy in terms of UX/UI, y'know?
In Teams we very much feel like a collective, I don't think that it will be easy to get that here.

Eliot_Cole I would ask that you also drop this feedback into the Teams Feedback portal (https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback). It's helps the Teams team prioritize their features.

The M365 Champions and Viva Community calls will be following this approach for sure, but we are still evaluating this format for other calls. We're working on finding the balance between the various community needs and platform capabilities and exploring new options. But as always, give us your feedback! - Eliot_ColeIron ContributorThanks for the responses in the call. It's interesting, yeah. I would miss the *literal* community of it all ... I feel. But you're right about the visibility.

Yeah we are definitely planning to improve the events experience on the community going forward so do give feedback.

FWIW many of us are leaving Twitter, due to the highly concerning direction that it has taken. But LinkedIn is a properly fabulous way to keep up with things.
Also ... it's VERY odd that T. Noah is presenting ... but ... Brilliant!... Money well spent, folks!

FYI about Trevor + Microsoft, "The Prompt with Trevor Noah"

Personally, I'd watch Trevor Noah do infomercials, ha!- Eliot_ColeIron ContributorIt absolutely MUST be recorded on a VHS, though. Otherwise I won't be able to take it seriously.

The Custom emoji function is awesome, so happy that it is there now!
Might be a good plan to bring Teams to the same standard as most other web interactions for such things by using colons, rather than brackets. 😉

Yes, we want the same in Teams, too! It would help if you submitted this ask to the Teams Feedback portal (or upvote if it's already in there): https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback. The feedback goes directly back to the product engineering team.- Eliot_ColeIron Contributor
Hiya ... I have *finally* gotten around to this, JessieHwang ... and ... it's already in there four times.
Not for nothing, but this is reminds me that this kind of response is a very common occurrence in community responses from official MS accounts. So, when that response is given (I'm not referring to yours, here! 😅) and they say "no, but suggest it as an idea..." that many feel like it's a way of brushing folks off. Mostly because when folks then see it already suggested ... they'll see that suggestion and wonder what the point is.
Either way ... sorry for nattering on about blah ... thanks again!
