Make overdue tasks more visible
I'm a heavy user of To Do, and despite using it every day for several months, I just found the Overdue list under Planned. This is a really important list for me, but burying it here make it much less accessible and valuable. I'd like to recommend two possible approaches to make overdue tasks more visible: Add an "Overdue" smart list to the sidebar, at the same level as Important, Assigned to Me, etc. Have an option to show overdue tasks in My Day similar to the current option for Due Today tasks.
Feature Request: Ability to mark start and due date of the tasks
Hi To Do Team, It is possible to mark the Start and Due dates of tasks in Microsoft Outlook. However, no such option exists in the To-Do app. Ideally, if a task falls within the start and due dates, it should appear in my day list. Dear To Do Team, The current version of the To-Do app lacks many features. Adding a group by a feature on all tabs/lists (vertical tabs on the left) of the To-Do app will be helpful. The Group by functionality can be performed based on the following fields: 1. Categories (Ensure great synchronization of categories from Microsoft Outlook) 2. Due Date 3. Task Status 4. Self define My Day ending time 可以自定义「我的一天」结束时间
Normally the tasks in My Day is clean up after 24:00 everyday. But i usually sleep at 2:00 AM, I'm keep working to 2:00 AM but the tasks in My Day was disappear, i need re-add it to My Day manually. I think could to self define what time is my day ending. Please forgive my poor English, there is a Chinese version 「我的一天」里的任务在每天 24:00 会清空，未完成的任务会变成历史任务。但是我每天可能都会工作到凌晨 2:00，我希望我的一天是在 2:00 结束。 需要一个可以让用户自定义每天的结束时间，默认还是 24:00 但是用户可以自定义Needs more keyboard shortcuts
Hi, I've been using this for a while for my personal tasks and just discovered Shared Lists. There are some great features here and I could see us using this a lot in my team. However the app really needs more keyboard shortcuts. The 12 shortcuts currently available are not enough for a keyboard driven workflow and are paltry compared to the number of keyboard shortcuts usually available in other Microsoft apps. (For example I'm a power user of Excel and I am competely keyboard driven without ever using the mouse at all.) Otherwise I really like so please prioritise those Keyboard Shortcuts! Thanks
Move steps into tasks
The steps function is limited by the fact that you cannot easily select a step and turn it into a task or create sub-steps for it - the best you can do is copy and paste the text of the step into the add a task bar and then treat it as a separate task but none of the other information in terms of notes, reminders or due dates is retained this way. Similarly, you can't copy and paste a task to duplicate that information and then change the text, unless anyone has a workaround?Insert the current date and time into the notes
With this feature request it is possible to show some kind of history, inside a card. Until now I enter the date manually. Adding a date and time could be established via a button, near the note, for example with the label "Add date/time". Hello, I'm using the ToDo app, it's very nice for me to coordinate daily tasks. On Win10 laptop with 15 inches, as a default it works 1920x1080 and 125% scale, and other apps work fine. But about ToDo, the font is a bit too large and I can only see 10 tasks at once. So I hope we can adjust the scale or fonts. For now, I can use ToDo via Web Browser and adjust the scale, but I hope I can do it with App. Best regards,
Add All button on Suggestions Pane
I'd really benefit from having an Add All button at the top of the Suggestions pane. I frequently have a lot of tasks in the suggestions pan and instead of clicking the plus button next to each it would be far easier each morning to just click and Add All button that puts all suggestions into My Day.
Feature Request: Templates for To Do
Hi All! I'm just coming off a very unorganized year (aren't we all?) and searcing for ways to improve my productivity at work. I had been using Todoist before in a limited capacity when I found the Microsoft To Do app. Firstly, I don't think this app is chatted up enough as part of the Office 365 app options because this would have been a wonderful thing to know about before i even went searching for something. For my feature request I have four: 1) It would be great if you could offer templates (similar to Todoist) that you can "import". I have a few over there I was working on, Deep Work and GTD Weekly Review, it would be a fantastic support for those starting out to offer a variety of templates to help users get started (other than the "getting started" list) 2) Please add Tags and/or Categories. I know things are in lists, but some of my lists my cross topics and would be good to be able to search for tags. 3) I know that the My Day feature is available in OWA. I have difficulty using it due to a vision perception thing and not being able to change the view to be more like my desktop app. The feature that specifically I'm reqeusting is the ability to sync or schedule my tasks to a specific calendar in Outlook. Like I said, I know I can technically drag and drop "tasks" in the desktop app but it's not terrible intuitive or clean. If To Dos had the option to "schedule on XYZ Calendar" and choose a set start time, duration, etc that would help me with Time Blocking. I'm currently doing this in a more elaborate process that would be SUPER fantastic if it were integrated. (PS there isn't a flow for this in Power Automate, I already checked 😞 ) 4) Integrate with MS Teams / Sharepoint for shared lists inside a Team/Sharepoint group that can notify a distro and/or members of assignments when they are added and update the shared list with only the parts pertinent to them while they have a task. Thanks for all your help, and honestly I do wish more folks knew about this app so that we could get the word out and make it as awesome as it can be.
