Disconnect Microsoft Teams calendar from Outlook calendar
I work with a group of 170 students and recently began using the calendar feature as a way to publish events for the group. Some of these events are applicable to all members. Some events are applicable to some members. I am now seeing all of these events on my outlook calendar, and I am sure our group is too. Is there a way to disconnect this Teams calendar from Outlook calendars?

Hello there, I've been trying to update my team's avatars to make them more easily identifiable for a couple of months now but persistently receive this message when I try in-app or online: We're having trouble updating your team. Please try again later. I've tried on different networks/ devices and nothing seems to make a difference. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
Microsoft Teams Android App Video Sharing Not Working
Im a Lecturer at a School who uses my Samsung Tablet for my Lectures Because or Covid19 prevention i.e wfh. Unfortunately we are required to use MS Teams only for said Lectures. To my utter surprise, having a lot of expectations for "Logical" computer company like microsoft, the Video Share option for MS Teams App on my Samsung is not working. I have a video saved on my one drive and I also uploaded a video on the MS Teams Team Files and Channel. After joining/starting the meeting, I immediately clicked on the Share Icon(Box with Arrow Up) and then clicked on Share Video option. It would then take me to window with 3 options on the bottom of the window namely: Files, Photo, Video. The Video Option is actually Sharing your video through your phone or Tablet Camera. Obviously theres no use for that in my lecture. Which leaves us with the File option, of course expecting that we can access our local android files or One Drive files. I click on the files option then it only gave me with 2 folder options. These are Onedrive and Teams and Channels. When I went into those folders, i cannot access any videos at all. Microsoft What the hell? Really? So I tried to find an alternative. I figured maybe I can use Share screen and play the video from my Tablet instead. I wasnt able to do it from my gallery, I have to use VLC. The video played but with no Audio. I mean again Microsoft what the hell? Really? For a company that creates computer, which you would expect to be logical, this is very disappointing. Why the hell can we not just play a freakien video when you created that freaken option? Why? Screen sharing delay
Hi, I am giving online courses using Microsoft Teams. I always have the problem that my voice and screen sharing activity are not syncronized. There is always a delay between voice and screen activity. Another problem, some of my students are raising hands for questions and I was not able to see their hand raising until they actually speak. my school started using teams for work and classes, but there is a problem. I have to talk with my study group of five people in discord, but my physical unmute button linked with Microsoft teams meaning I can't talk with my study group. Intermittent Issue Not Correctly Following Powerpoint Presenter On Mac Client
Hello my daughter is struggling with school lessons because Teams is often not locally following the slide that the presenter is on. She has the option to manually change the slides locally and can click to re-join the presenter but often it just says the presenter is still on slide 1 but they are not. This results in her needing a side conversation on zoom with other school friends to try to follow the session. Its a nightmare for her. Is this a known defect in Teams, is there something we can do about it ? I signed up to teams to see what the issue is and at one point I was able to reproduce it but then it became stable again. I cannot easily identify the cause. We are using the OSX install on Big Sur. Any tips appreciated. Thanks Update: It's hard to see what causes this issue, but once the Mac app has started doing it, it keeps doing it. i.e. any screen share that works through uploading content then the client will just sit there stuck on Slide 1 and not follow the presenter. This remains true for joining and leaving meetings. Once we force kill the whole Teams app (all instances) and restart it, correct behaviour is restored. A further issue is that to get the web client to work on a Mac as a backup, we have to disable the prevention of the cross site tracking i.e. disable the PRIVACY features in the browser - otherwise it does not work - that doesn't feel like a great situation.Teams Meeting- Inviting people to same meeting at different times
Hi all, I'm in charge of setting up a virtual summer camp on ms teams and I'm struggling. Is there a way that I can make a meeting that I could invite the students from say 8am-1pm and then have presenters come in at different times through an invite? I was hoping to send an invite to a presenter at 10am-11am for the original 8am-1pm meeting that all the students will already be in. So in that case the meeting will show up on the presenter's calendar for just the hour they're needed.
