Skype buzz feature request
I would like Skype for Business to add a buzz feature. I would like to be able to buzz the given target meaning raise their messaging window to the top and shake the window to get their attention. Sound alerts are not an option for me, I missed far to many timely messages because all I have is a small flashing icon in my task bar. If someone needs immediate attention, sends me a message, and I don't respond. I want them to be able to buzz me causing my window to come to the front and visibly shake.
Call made to LyncClient Automation BeginStartConversation, callback not received in certain cases
Hello, I have observed that when I restart Windows and then Lync client after sleep/ hibernate, then sometimes the callback is not invoked Here is my code IAsyncResult ar = LyncClient.GetAutomation().BeginStartConversation(AutomationModalities.InstantMessage, ptcpts, _ModalitySettings, ConversationWindowCreatedCallback, null); ConversationWindowCreatedCallback is not invoked . Sometimes Lync signout- sigin is required to get it working. This issue is observed in a customer environment not in development environment.
Appear offline in Skype for Business

My organisation uses Skype 4 Business and a partner organisation uses MS Teams. We have open federtaion. Our Partener org can us MS Teams to message us however we can't reply unless we instigate a new message window in Skype 4 Business However we can instigate a messagein S4B and the partner organisation can reply from MS Teams and we can have a conversaton in the same window. Telephony between the clients appears to be working. Is there any guidance out there on this issue?
Skype for Business on-prem without Exchange Hybrid - autodiscover configuration?
We completed a migration of all Exchange users to Office 365 several months ago, and we have one remaining Exchange Hybrid server. We have our phone system that is currently Skype for Business (planned to be replaced with Teams in 6+ months), and we want to get rid of the last Exchange server. Exchange is currently providing autodiscover for S4B, and I am looking for guidance on what steps we need to do (and if it is possible) to re-point autodiscover to the S4B Front-End pool so that we can remove the last Exchange Server. Any advice?
Skype not showing me as online
Hello, I am currently experiencing an issue with Skype where I'm signed in to VPN and I show as 'online' on my computer, but my teammates see me as 'offline.' Does Skype need to be uninstalled and then re-installed to fix this issue? If so, could someone point me in the direction of the right IT person to get help from? Thank you!
SfB isn't for everyone - what can be done?
Hi, 20 % of the workforce is doing their work on Linux and the remaining is on Windows. Our challenge is to find collaboration solution that can work for everyone - sometime. We are trying to identify the top 5 pains and then look for one or several technical solutions to bridge the gap between the Linux and Windows communities. Is it someone here that has been able to find a good enough solution for screen sharing, video meetings etc?Purple tiny point near the name
Hi, It always appears near to my name a purple tiny point, for whatever state i'am using. why is that? does it has something to do with my wifi? basically it claims that i'm not in place "fuori sede" called in italian So i got the double status thanks in advance, sorry for my english if it is not clear i'll explain it better
