Microsoft Stream
136 TopicsWhen will non owners be able to download videos from Microsoft Stream
Hey, Long time searcher, first time poster. Currently video owners are able to download a copy of a video, from Stream, to their computer. This is not very useful since the owner probably has access to the video file in the first place. When will it be possible for anyone who has access to the video to download it from Stream? We want to use it to show videos of our products but also allow our sales staff to download a local copy in case they are in areas where internet is not available. This happens regularly in the remote parts of Australia. Thanks.460KViews24likes13CommentsUse Playlists to create collections of video or audio files in Microsoft 365
Today, we’re introducing Playlists - a new and simple way to curate and share video or audio collections within Microsoft 365. This combines Microsoft Lists ease of use with the trusted value of Stream (on SharePoint) powering the playback experience.51KViews5likes52CommentsMicrosoft stream - Only recording sound and not recording screen share
Hi. I tried to record a meeting but it only recorded the audio and people's teams photos/any live webcam footage people were sharing. It did not capture screen sharing of a presentation. Can this be fixed? ThanksSolved51KViews2likes33CommentsThe Next Phase For the New Version of Stream
We're glad to announce we'll be entering the next phase of our journey to the new version of Microsoft Stream in Q3 2021. In this phase, we're on track to start bringing new experiences for sharing, discovery, and video playback on top of the Microsoft 365 file experience.25KViews7likes15Commentsclient does not have permissions to send as this sender
Hello everyone, We purchased a few licences of office 365 that are managed by GoDaddy. the Emails are working properly (they are able to send/receive). We have a 3rd party application (CRM), that we would like to use for sending out auto response emails, when a new user registers into the CRM. We have an Email address (no-reply@ourdomain.ltd) that we would like to use, as the sender, through the CRM (the 3rd party app). We have tried all options from this guide with NO success: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/how-to-set-up-a-multifunction-device-or-application-to-send-email-using-office-365-69f58e99-c550-4274-ad18-c805d654b4c4 We have received the following error in all 3 options: Full error: Expected response code 250 but got code "550", with message "550 5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as this sender [AM0PR01MB4099.eurprd01.prod.exchangelabs.com] " array(6) { ["mailer_transport"]=> string(4) "smtp" ["mailer_host"]=> string(18) "smtp.office365.com" ["mailer_user"]=> string(22) "no-reply@ourdomain.ltd" ["mailer_password"]=> string(10) "ourpassword" ["mailer_port"]=> int(587) ["mailer_encryption"]=> string(3) "tls" } When we access the admin center for office 365, we are limited in our permissions due to the fact that GoDaddy manages our office 365 account. we have tried contacting Microsoft support, they tell us that we need to contact GoDaddy for support. on the other hand, GoDaddy does not supply Microsoft support. They only provide guides/info. they even told us "try looking up the error on Google" ***ATTACHED IS A SCREEN SHOT SHOWING OUR PERMISSIONS ISSUE REGARDING THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH*** The hosting of our 3rd party app (hosted by: GNS) says that from their side, everything was configured correctly. To sum up, we are stuck between our 3rd party app, to GoDaddy, to Microsoft. If anyone has encountered this before or has any type of "fix" PLEASE let us know by replying. Thanks, Ben24KViews0likes15Comments
