Hello everyone, A customer would like to connect an external third party warehouse management system to Finance & Supply Chain. This system accesses the Sales Order Line. Is the Operations - Order Line license necessary for this? The customer argues that the “Users of WMS” could also be equipped with D365 licenses and would then be licensed. Thank you in advanceD365 Marketing transitional offer for existing customers (CSP)
Last summer, I watched the webinar on the launch of D365 Customer Insight (https://learning.eventbuilder.com/event/76690). In the webinar, they showed the slide about the transitional offer for the existing customers that they could renew their existing D365 Marketing subscription till September 1, 2025. Not only EA but also CSP customers. However, I was reading this Learn page which explains that "This renewal must be made during the transitional offer window that will run through September 1, 2024". https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/ci-faq#general This would effect to some of our customers. Did Microsoft change the schedule or is "2025" just a typo? In fact, the renewal status of one of our customers' subscription is "auto renews on" which means that the subscription will be renewed automatically on the renewal date. If SKUs are not available after current contract is expired, the status should be "expired on", shouldn't it? As long as I see. the transitional offer is available until 2015 but I need the confirmation.SolvedDynamics 365 Business Central on-premises availability for customers with enhancement plan
Microsoft announced that Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises will only be available until March 31th of 2025. However, one of our Dynamics NAV customers with an active enhancement plan would like to upgrade to the newest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises at a later date, probably not until beginning of 2026. Will it be possible to make the transition for this customer from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises in 2026?SolvedD365 Business Central - Environments
We have deployed D365 BC with the BTTC2 offer for a client. The Client is a global company and they have the following D365 BC instances: Existing D365 BC implementation. This is an existing BC implementation with its own Production and Sandbox environments. New Implementation – This division is in India on NAV on premises and we are migrating them to D365 BC Cloud on the corporate US tenant (same tenant as existing implementation) under the BTTC2 offer. My questions are: Does the BTTC2 program will provide the additional Production Environment and 3 additional Sandbox Environments for new implementation? Thank you! Hello, I would like to know if, in the context of the initial deployment of Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service with Customer Insights as an Attach, we indeed have a Dataverse database capacity of 25 GB included on the tenant. The licensing guide explains that the default capacity is not cumulative; however, if the client simultaneously purchases their Sales / Service seats and Customer Insights, do they indeed have 25 GB and not 10 GB? The guide specifies that the first base license for a Dynamics 365 product includes its default capacity. The term 'first' is ambiguous; are we indeed looking at a maximum of 25 GB vs 10 GB = 25 GB? A reference from Microsoft would be appreciated if possible.Bridge 2 Cloud- Migrating CSP Partner During Term
We have a customer wanting to move from their existing CSP provider to ourselves, but they have a ‘bridge 2 cloud’ promotion of 40% discount which is mid-term. Can you confirm whether we could leverage this offer for them if we migrated their services to us, and whether the discount would carry over to us and be honoured so that they are not affected. If so, is there a particular process that would need to be followed or is it the same as migrating any CSP customer? Many thanks,A question about Business Central availability
Microsoft announced the end of sales of Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise last year. Business Central Cloud is the only option for new customers after 4/1/2025 (if they wish to purchase Business Central) in most of the countries. But how about China? Does anyone know if Microsoft has a plan to release Business Central Cloud in China? F.Y.I. I have confirmed with the APOC operation team that the existing NAV customers are allowed to transition to Business Central on-premise after 4/1/2025.SolvedPrice increase D365, impact on Base/Attach model?
Hi all, Microsoft announced a general price increase of D365 licenses, with a increase of 10-15% for certain suites. See following blog: New pricing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 effective October 2024 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog. I wonder how this price increase will affect the Base/Attach model and combinations you can make. Eg. the D365 Sales Enterprise license with increase from $95 --> $105. While the D365 BC Premium will remain on $100 (no increase for BC). This means, Sales Enterprise will be more expensive than BC Premium. Currently we can attach Sales Enterprise on a BC Premium license: General rule of thumb is that the Base license must be the highest priced license, and Attach licenses should be the cheaper licenses. But with this price change this will be turned around between Sales/BC. So how will this price increase impact the Base/Attach model for such cases and existing customers?
