Hello! We're actively looking for a solution to migrate a Teams Channel from one Team to another. The scenario: we have a single Org-Wide Team used for various communications/resources going to ALL employees (about 4,700 users). We have a growing collection of important resources/tools we'd like to build within their own Channels --- but development of these Channels will take time and testing, which of course we DON'T want to do "live and in production" within the Org-Wide Team. The "rock and a hard place" conundrum: A Channel's TYPE can't be changed - so we can't create a Private channel within the Org-Wide Team, do the development, and then convert it to a Standard channel that all employees can access. A Channel can't be MIGRATED from one Team to another - so we can't develop the content within a different Team, and then migrate the Channel to the Org-Wide Team. There appear to be a few third-party tools that say they can "migrate a Channel from one Team to another Team" - but there are multiple limitations about some content types. Does anyone know of a way to **successfully** migrate a Channel from one Team to another Team?55KViews1like5CommentsThe Next Phase For the New Version of Stream
We're glad to announce we'll be entering the next phase of our journey to the new version of Microsoft Stream in Q3 2021. In this phase, we're on track to start bringing new experiences for sharing, discovery, and video playback on top of the Microsoft 365 file experience.25KViews7likes15CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!23KViews1like28CommentsTeams Audio quality is very poor / pathetic
Compared to my Zoom calls, people complaint that my sound is muffled with lot of white noise. I have tested this issue myself by adding my spouse ID to teams meeting. I sounded horrible. It seems, Microsoft has no plan to improve the voice capture quality. I use https://rode.com/en/microphones/usb/nt-usb for my Zoom and Teams meetings. I went on to test the microphone quality with google hangout too. Apart from Teams, sound from my Rode microphone crystal clear .. really high definition sounds. But the one that's captured by teams is very flat / very noisy23KViews0likes1CommentChannel 2.0. announcements - Format option headline missing
When I switch on the Channels 2.0. option, and proceed to create an announcement in one of my channels, I do not see the option to change the background of my headline (picture upload). I normally upload a customized banner for different type of announcements, but I don´t seem to have this option anymore. Will it be introduced again in a later release?17KViews0likes10CommentsMicrosoft Teams Shared Devices license
Have you seen the new license "Microsoft Teams Shared Devices" available in your tenant now? It is actually not a completely new license, it is just the old Common Area Phone license that got a new name. But as the new name indicates it is not only for phones now, but you can also use it for more devices like Teams Panels and Teams Displays. The list price of the license is still the same as for the CAP, €6.70 /license/month or € 80.40 / license/year. There is a trial available via M365 admin center, you will get 25 licenses during one (1) month trial period.
