Timesheet or time tracking functionalities in Project for the Web/Planner Premium
Hi, I've been looking for information about whether timesheet or time tracking capabilities will be made available in a not so distant future in PFTW of Planner Premium. I work at a company where we already have an instance of Project Online running in which timesheets are managed. We would like to have some sort of time tracking in PFTW/Planner premium as well since we're launching a project on that platform soon. Does anyone have a view on what's coming or any experience on how to do time tracking in PFTW/Planner Premium? Thanks! N.
Font to "Finish" tab becomes white on Project for the web
This is something I noticed very recently on Project For The Web. I noticed that dates on my Finish column becomes white if the task is not marked100% complete. The date becomes visible again once the task is marked completed. (see below) Anyone has any idea on how to fix this? Would definitely need to see the finish dates of my incomplete tasks!
Project for the Web start and end times
We have a business requirement to set start and end times (or could be start time and duration) for tasks. During a go-live, we plan tasks to the 15 minute increment. For example, we need to specify that Task1 starts at 9:00, Task 2 at 9:15, Task 3 at 9:30, task 4 at 10:15, etc. I feel like there should be Start/End DateTime field types, but cannot find such a thing. Thoughts?
Can no longer Deactivate Projects
I can't deactivate projects. The last time this worked was a few months ago but just noticed it last week. When I try, I get the following message: Hours per day : Required fields must be filled in. Hours per week : Required fields must be filled in. Days per month : Required fields must be filled in. This sounds like a calendar template issue and I suspect it may be related because we did create a custom calendar template to include weekends. However, the projects I am trying to deactivate are using the default calendar. I cannot find where those fields are to satisfy the requirement. I am using Microsoft project for the web as project management solution for my customer. I am trying to automate project operations by creating template from existing projects in project for the web as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/project-operations/project-management/dev-copy-project. However it is not copying values in custom columns created in project and project task entity in dataverse. Hello, We're using the Project for the Web accelerator Power App. A bookable resource can be added directly to a Project via the Project's Resources tab or if they're assigned to a Task. When they are added to a Project, they will show up under the Resources tab as a "Team Member" (in the "Project Team Members"/"msdyn_projectteam" table). However, when I try to Delete them from the Project's Resource tab, I get the following error: If I delete all of their Tasks or unassign them from all Tasks, they still show as a Team Member under the Resources table and still cannot be deleted. How can we delete a Team Member from a Project within P4W? Thanks, Adil
