101 TopicsMicrosoft forms auto-fill suggestion
Hello! I am currently working on a project where I require people to fill out forms but with exact spelling of names (that might not be theirs). Because the organization has nearly 400 members, I cannot just do a drop-down or check-box item on a form. I am curious if there is any way I can have Microsoft forms suggest / auto-fill the name section of the form once they start typing a name, much like Outlook will autocomplete for emails / contacts? Any help is much appreciated, thank you! - BrianSolved68KViews0likes5CommentsCan Forms 365 add a calculated field
Hi all: Is it possible to add set of options that will automatically add up on the form if that option is chosen? Example: How many coloured balls would you like to buy? The person filling out with form selects Option 1 and 4. _X_Option 1 - 10 Balls in Red - $1.00 ___Option 2 - 20 Balls in Blue - $2.00 ___Option 3 - 30 Balls in Green - $3.00 _X_Option 4 - 40 Balls in Pink - $4.00 Your total for all Balls selected is: __$5.00______ (the form automatically calculated $5.00) If FORMS in 365 cannot do this, can you recommend a Form that can do this, and that has all the other great functionality that FORMS 365 has? Thanks so much in advance for your advice. I can't seem to get answers when I call the 365 hotline. No one on the phone can answer this question.Solved45KViews0likes7CommentsAnonymous settings in MS Forms
Hello, is it possible to somehow change the settings in MS Forms to "not-anonymous"? I created a form where for participants to sign up for an event. They should insert their personal information etc. and I can see all of that except the e-mail address. I created a power automate workflow to write the data from forms in excel and it works except for the e-mail addresses. I need the information about the e-mail address to send the participants further information about the event. I would be glad if someone could help me. Thanks!Solved21KViews0likes10CommentsMicrosoft Forms Choice question Limit
Hello, I am trying to make a form to take bookings for appointments over several time slots and days. I am using dropdown questions so that a responser can choose just one time slot. Eg - Tuesday 11:00, 12:00 etc. However, there are only two available appointments for each time slot. Is there a way to make the option disappear/be crossed out once two people have selected it? This is something you can do in Google forms with a plugin, but I can't figure out how to do this in Microsoft Forms. Many thanks, Gabrielle21KViews1like1CommentUsing one Form to collect multiple responses
Howdy folks, This place seems a liiiiitle bit empty but I am currently beating my head against a problem that seems like something i should be able to handle via forms, but i can't figure it out. I need to collect some data that will have the user entering some information that would be repetitive if they had to fill out a form multiple times. But that information needs to be linked to a bunch of other, non repetitive data. Instead of making a form per user and populating the data myself, I would like to make a form that gives the user an option to repeat a set of questions, but providing different responses with each subsequent iteration. I have made a high quality diagram illustrating how i would like it to work. But when I test the form, using a branch to point back to section already completed once, the form ends. As i don't know how many possible entries the user might make, I can't simply create a bunch of duplicates of the same section, because I don't know when I would stop. It would also mean having to do a lot of manual data moving around once I have gathered responses. Ideally, i want to end up with an output that looks something like the image below. I have highlighted the once off entry information to illustrate how much additional work a particular user would have to repeat if they were to complete a whole fresh form for each of the unique entries. the ideal form would have the blue user from "Example School" filling out section 1 of a form to collect the blue highlighted data, then moving on to Section 2, which will capture the unique information. They are then given the option to add another entry or end. If they want to add more, they fill out Section 2 again, asked again if they want to add more, until they eventually say no and the form ends. Please help! I unfortunately do not have access to Flows/Automate, which i think could resolve my issue. I am hoping I am missing something that already exists in Forms. (i also realise it probably looks like I am spending 20hrs trying to streamline what would be 5 minutes of manual data handling. Because that is exactly what is happening . But seriously, if I can figure this out there are many additional use cases and scaling issues that get managed) Appreciate any advice anyone can give me.Solved20KViews1like6CommentsHow to get a number code after submitting a MS Forms
Dear All, I am designing the online Health Declaration form by using MS Forms. May I have a question that which way we can customize or add on an MS Forms in order for us to get a random code after submitting an MS Forms? I mean that that random code or number is a piece of evidence to prove we had completed the form as well as provide it to the Security Guard at the Gate. May we use MS Power Automate Flows for this? I am looking forward to receiving your experiences on this topic for me. Many thanks. Hello Team, We are experiencing an issue when using MS Forms and trying to upload attachments as a user feedback for survey - We have set the file size limit as 10MB and even then, whenever we are uploading attachments of size very less size also to a survey MS Form, we are getting error message "File size exceeds the maximum limit" and need to refresh the page multiple times. Is this an existing issue. If so, when can we expect the resolution. Thanks & Regards, Bhanu14KViews0likes0Comments
