Hi, We use FSLogix, Azure Premium File Share, and high powered skus for the vms. When my users log out, it hangs at "Please wait for Windows Search" for up to 8 minutes before finally logging out. Also, Outlook randomly crashes with a Windows Search error. I have had a premier ticket opened for over a week with no traction so I'm reaching out here. Hoping someone can help!22KViews0likes5CommentsWindows 11: Remove search bar from Start menu
Remove search bar from Start menu, the search icon and all of its feature are already available next to start button There is no need to show search bar at the top of Start menu, keep it simple. the search functionality and icon is there right next to the start menu, with all of its features, don't need to duplicate it on start menu. keep start menu simple. For example, when user types "epn" instead of "vpn", show the VPN settings instead of "Nothing found" the search should be smart enough so a single letter typo won't disrupt it. or "fnt setting" instead of "font setting", Windows should know and suggest "font setting" even if a single letter was omitted from search query. it should be smart. When we click/tap on search and go to music tab, and enter a singer name or song's name, we should see search results from online sources such as YouTube and Spotify etc. Upvote this feedback in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAd5e171KViews0likes0CommentsWin 10 - printers and scanners
Hi folks, i'm wondering how i can change the printers name, which is shown in this dialogue: In our companys network there are several printers which are listed here, too. But: The shown names are not ideal, because they are always like "HP XY123-DN series", no meaningful names like the printers location. We manage our printers on an Windows Server 2019 print server. Any ideas are highly appreciated.1.3KViews0likes3Comments[Build 21343] - Start menu search issue
Hello, I have an issue since I installed the build 21343. 1) When I press Windows button and start typing a word, I have the search window which appear but nothing in, only the border. 2) Sometimes, the search does not find my application (ex, I type "calc" and it want to search for a folder or a network search instead of the application). Am the only one who have this issue ?Solved1.1KViews0likes4CommentsAdd the ability to search for a word in Clipboard of Windows 10
I often find myself in a situation where I have lots of Clipboard entries with texts and pictures, and I know what I'm looking for, but there is no easy way to search for it in the Clipboard other than going through each of them one by one and checking them manually. it won't even work for long clipboard entries as the Windows Clipboard only previews the first couple of lines of the item and not the entire thing, so I have to paste my entries in notepad one by one just to find what I'm looking for. if there was a mini search bar on Windows 10 Clipboard, I could type the word I'm looking for and find the correct entry fast. the search bar doesn't have to be visible at all times, it can be a responsive search bar, where we click on an icon and then the search bar appears.
