Hello there, I've been trying to update my team's avatars to make them more easily identifiable for a couple of months now but persistently receive this message when I try in-app or online: We're having trouble updating your team. Please try again later. I've tried on different networks/ devices and nothing seems to make a difference. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
How to enroll a small school on Team education for free version.
I have a very small number of students about 10 to 15 and I want to start online classes for that I want to use teams education free version but I don't how to register my domain or school on teams for free and how to add students on this domain.
Hide Class Template
Hi Is it possible to hide the Class Teams template from view when a user goes to create a Team? Ideally we would like our users to create Class Teams via our VLE which has the Teams Integration allowing for Class Teams to be provisioned including membership. As such we're not wanting to remove the ability to create Class Teams but rather force our users via our VLE to do so. From what I can see you can add/hide other templates via the Admin Centre but not specifically the core templates such as 'Class', or can you?Teams recognizes my headphones but turns them off.
So because I have online classes I need to use Teams. I plugged my headphones in and it recognizes them at first but then just says that they've been disconnected or that it doesn't recognize them. When it says it doesn't recognize them, I check the settings and there it says it does recognize them. It didn't do this in November but now it does. Any solutions?
Text Boxes in Template shared thru Assignments Tab in Teams can't be typed in
Microsoft Teams - Assignments Tab - Created an Assignment - uploaded Word Document that was formatted as a template using textboxes - Set the upload to "students edit their own copy" - students open the document and it won't let them type or do anything in the boxes. My daughter uses Teams for joining her online school classes and half-way through the 30 minute class, the video and generally, the laptop freezes and the laptop needs to be force shut down. This happens almost during every class on the day, leading to a very interrupted learning experience. While there was no such observation on other online collaboration tools, the problem only seems with MS Teams. I've even tried upgrading the RAM from 4GB to 12 GB, but to no avail. I've also tried clearing cache as per one of the online forum suggestions from 2019. Appreciate if anyone can please help on this.
Ms teams turn in assignment- add work not working
I am having a problem uploading files in teams, i.e I can't add work in the "work section" in assignment in my pixel 4a. when I click on add work it takes me to the files and I select the file, but it doesn't get uploaded. I have tried In my samsung device it works just fine but in my pixel 4a it's not working. Android version 11 device pixel 4a issue:- add work not working.
Disabling guests from posting in a private channel
We use Teams for the parents at our school. Each classroom has their own private channels. The parents are added as guests. In the public channels I am able to see where I can disable guests from starting new posts (first picture). But in private channels this setting is nowhere to be found (see second picture). Does anyone know if it is possible to disable guests from starting new posts in a private channel?
Hiding Team Members details in a Class Team
Hi all Just wondering if anyone can help! We have set class teams up and added students with a company email address, however, we do not want the students to be able to see who else is a member of that team and their email addresses due to DP - is there anyway these can be 'hidden'? Thanks in advance. June
