Teams Calling
26 TopicsDifficulty with Auto-Answering VOIP Calls via Microsoft Graph API
Description: I'm working on a PowerShell script to initiate and auto-answer VOIP calls using the Microsoft Graph API. I have successfully set up my Azure App Registration, including a callback URI. However, I'm encountering issues when trying to auto-answer calls Details: Call Initiation: The script successfully initiates a call using the New-MgCommunicationCall endpoint. Call Status: The call transitions from "establishing" to "established" status as expected. Error on Auto-Answer: Upon attempting to auto-answer the call with the Invoke-RestMethod to the answer endpoint, I receive a 404 Not Found error. The output indicates that the call ID is valid, but it seems the call resource is not found at the time of answering. Current Script Setup: I'm using a callback URI (https://kyncomdigiwasusdev.onmicrosoft.com/callback) configured for handling call events. I have ensured the necessary permissions are granted in Azure for the app. I have tried various delays (currently set to 5 seconds) between establishing the call and answering it, but I still receive the 404 error. Questions: Are there any known issues with the auto-answer feature in the Microsoft Graph API for VOIP calls? What additional steps should I take to troubleshoot this error?148Views0likes2CommentsTeams Mobile App only showing Calls
Hi everyone, I thought I'd start this discussion by mentioning we've encountered a bug within the Teams Mobile App whereby Android devices, don't allow you to access anything in the Teams Mobile App other than 'Calls'. You will receive notifications for Teams and Messages, and when selecting them will take you to the correct content. However, if you were to open the Teams Mobile App to send a message, you will see no such option other than the below. Appears to be effecting the following release, others may be affected too. I wanted to post this as I couldn't find anything similar on the community. Additionally, we have logged a case with Microsoft, of which the agent confirmed; "I have received multiple cases regarding the same issue. I have informed it to our backend team." Will keep you posted.14KViews5likes33CommentsAuto Attendant
When calling an AA from a teams client AA transfers are causing teams client status to remain 'on a call' status even after ending the call and had to logout of teams and log back in for the background calls to end on windows PC and creating multiple call legs on mobile devices causing to end multiple calls while calling an AA. Also creating multiple call id legs in TAC.Teams calling - contact information
Hello. We have recently switched to Microsoft Teams as our Telephony solution. While using the windows 10 client, we have noticed when a user is receiving an incoming call from a contact held within their teams 'contacts' list, you can only see the phone number rather than the 'display name'. This is rather frustrating for the user as they are keen to understand who is calling before choosing to accept the call. I have noticed via testing that this all works as expected in the teams web app, it is just within the windows client that the issue is present. We have tried all the basic troubleshooting, signing in and out of windows app etc to no avail. Any response or assistance is greatly appreciated. Hi everyone, I have been trying to figure out how to assign a "Caller ID policy" to a security group via group assignment. During the Group Policy assignment it only gives me the option of allow or block calling. (See Screenshot below) I have been seeing some screenshots that custom caller ID policies are also possible to be assigned... Any ideas? The Security group (Teams-SG-CallerID-Policies) should not be an issue since it can be selected as in the picture. Any way that I can kinda allow custom policies to be selected? I have also tried using the following cmd: New-CsGroupPolicyAssignment but it doesnt contain the Type: "Caller ID Policy":4.4KViews0likes2CommentsPhone number management
Hi Everyone, I am interested to hear what others are doing to manage/record their DID usage for Teams. We are close to migrating to Teams from SfB 2015. We currently keep record of all our DIDs via Excel. We have a sheet for each site location that contains a DID Range, individual DIDs and who/ if they are assigned, as well as some other notes about the number. For example if its a shared account line, or open area line, etc... Excel has been working out but was wondering if there was other options. First thing that comes to mind is Power BI but I don't have much experience with that. Thanks! Ian...Direct lines after user leave - Teams Phone System
So for the first time since we switched to Teams phone system we've had a user leave the company. When we blocked the user from signing in, this removed them from the voice section of teams and now their calls just seem to dump after a few quick rings. As a temporary measure I've reenabled the account, reset the password and set up call delegates, but this is not the long term answer. So what is the procedure for this situation? How do I take their number and forward it to another user without having it assigned to a person or licensing? We don't want to lose these calls6.6KViews0likes4CommentsTeams Direct Routing

I know my bandwidth is not an issues as i have fibre internet and a high spec pc. What is the issue and is there a fix? Thanks.2.8KViews0likes1Comment
