Today we launched The Azure Immersive Reader, to enable people of all abilities with reading. The Immersive Reader can be easily and quickly integrated into all app (Win10, iOS, Android), sites, or content providers. We recently commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact™ Analysis of Microsoft Accessibility And Assistive Technologies For Education to quantify the benefits of Microsoft accessibility tools for students, teachers and schools. Forrester conducted numerous interviews across K-12, Higher Education, and an alternative school. These schools were using the built-in accessibility tools that are offered with our Microsoft 365 platform, including Office 365 and Windows 10. We are thrilled to announce that the Immersive Reader is rolling out to four additional Microsoft apps and services, including PowerPoint for the web, OneDrive, SharePoint and MakeCode. This set up updates that bring this powerful literacy tool to even more places!Learning Tools for OneNote gets four new languages for syllables and parts of speech
As announced at the BETT Conference in London, we are releasing syllables and parts of speech support for four new languages in OneNote Desktop Learning Tools. The four new languages are: Dutch Finnish Norwegian Bokmal Swedish To get the latest version 1.7.0.0 of OneNote Desktop Learning Tools, just click the “Update” button on your toolbar. Otherwise, you can grab the latest version here. If you need the IT Admin version of the deployable Learning Tools Adin, you can get it here In addition to these new languages, we have some minor improvements to our Help and Support options, and bug fixes.
