Having an issue where staff are being added to an existing booking page, but they aren't receiving the activation email to confirm being added to the Booking page. As a result, they remain 'not bookable' - we have a need to add some staff as Administrators, but can't confirm their access because they don't receive the email when they are initially added (even though the Bookings dialogue suggests that one has been sent) and when I try to re-send the activation email, nothing changes - the time and date doesn't update, and no email is received by the user, so it seems like the system hasn't even tried to send an email out to the user: It's interesting to note, that users with existing access can have an email re-sent to them - is there a permissioning issue at play here? All our users should already have the required access (as existing users were added with no issue earlier this year), so I'm not sure what to look at first. Any helps is greatly appreciated. Hi, I'm writing for the company in which I work. The company, 1 year ago, bought a little server and the reseller gave us it with Windows Server 2022 Essential installed. The PK was put on the side of the server and gave us also a DVD. After a year, the server was giving some issues, so I've decided to buy a new HD to install it again. I've tried to put the DVD of Windows Server 2022 Essential into pc but I've just discovered it is in Deutch and I cannot speak in that language so for me is impossible to install it. Since I was not able to find any iso of this OS in microsoft website I've downloaded the 2022 standard evaluation. After installation I've tried to put into the activation tool the PK we have for this computer but system says this PK is not valid. Pls can anyone help me to understand how can I install again the 2022 essential with our PK? Thank you336Views0likes0CommentsOffice 365 Activation suddenly failing. SARA and Uninstall/Wipe/Reinstall not helping. HELP!
Hello - need help getting my Office 365 (fully paid, up to date) subscription is suddenly indicating "(Unlicensed Product)" as of the past week, on my Windows 11 (build 26231.5000 ge_prerelease) PC. I have performed all troubleshooting tasks Microsoft provides online, uninstalled/wiped/reinstalled Office multiple times now, run SARA multiple times, and still continue to be unable to activate my Office products. Clicking on the "Activate Product" or "Fix Me" buttons both results in a "Sign In to Office" page, (even though I'm already signed in) and results in a permanent, repeated cycle of re-signing in, without the product activating. After hours of dialog with support, the agent directed me to the Insider support, as they had exhausted all options for "standard" Windows PCs. I really need some advanced support here please!341Views0likes0CommentsKMS being overruled by Microsoft Activation server
tldr : For some reason the Microsoft activation link is taking precedence over my local KMS. Any ideas? The endpoints at my org have started to downgrade to Windows 10 Pro, sort of. On an effected endpoint, when I run slmgr /dlv, it says the endpoint is reaching out to https://activation-v2.sls.microsoft.com/SLActivateProduct/SLActivateProduct.asmx?configextension=Retail to activate. It also states that the license is Win10 Pro. However, if I run winver, it still comes up as Win 10 enterprise, which we are licensed for. We have had a KMS for a long time and it is and has been working fine. This just started happening recently. If I force the client to KMS by using slmgr /ipk "KMSKEY", then run /slmgr /ato, it correctly sets back to the kms. However, 4 to 8 hours later, it resets itself to point to https://activation-v2.sls.microsoft.com/SLActivateProduct/SLActivateProduct.asmx?configextension=Retail Its not group policy, I have run gpupdate /force and the endpoint is still looking at KMS. If I run nslookup -type-srv_vlmcs._tcp it comes back as the local KMS server, so I know my KMS is working ok. For some reason the Microsoft activation link is taking precedence over my local KMS. Any ideas?1.8KViews0likes1CommentWindows 10 Edition Uplift to Enterprise on OEM Activate Systems
We are receiving machines from an OEM that are Windows 10 21 H2 Professional and activated with an OEM license for same. These then get hybrid AzureAD joined to our ADDS domain and AzureAD tenant. Users then sigin into them with their ADDS creds. These users also have the full M365 E5 license and hence the Windows 10/11 service plan. What we have found is the following: The system does not uplift the Edition to enterprise. If we build a VM that has the KMS client activation code and do the same the edition does get uplifted Reading here I would have thought that the OEM machine would uplift? Any ideas on if this is the case or how to troublehoot?385Views0likes0CommentsWindows Server 2022 Essentials Activation Error
Hi, I bought a new Dell server with Windows Server 2022 Essentials licence. It came with the key for Windows Server 2022 Essentials. So, I found this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server-essentials/get-started/get-started, and here I can read the Note: With Windows Server 2022, the Essentials edition is available to purchase from OEMs only, however there is no specific installation media. Instead, an Essentials edition product key is used to activate the Standard edition of Windows Server 2022. So, I intalled using a Windows Server 2022 Standard ISO and it didn't ask for a key on installtion process and configured it, but when trying to activate, it gave this error: The product key you entered didn't work. Check the product key and try again, or enter a different one. (0xc004f050) I double and triple checked the key and I'm sure it's right. Need a help here, the server is already in production and can't be reinstalled. Thank you1.9KViews0likes2CommentsADBA Windows 10 Activation Not Persistent
I have setup ADBA for Windows 10 activation. We're having an issue where different and multiple workstations randomly get the watermark saying to activate Windows. When checking Start / Settings / Update & Security / Activation this also shows that Windows is not activated. HOWEVER when running SLMGR.VBS /DLV, the status shows as licensed. The various troubleshooting steps we have used include SLMGR /ato to reactivate which always works. SLMGR /ipk to manually apply the license (recommended by "MS Support") Replace the TOKENS.DAT (recommended by "MS Support") I put MS Support in quotes because it's their outsourced support. So far nothing has stuck. We have ADBA objects for Server 2019 and Office 2019. So far none of our 2019 servers or Office activations have this issue. Please help if possible. Thanks. Hi there, I bought an MSI (GT72S Dominator Pro G 6QE) laptop in 2015. It came with 2 ssds on the laptop with "raid 0" mode applied. The 2 ssds on the laptop came as a single disk (C:) with "raid 0" mode set, and after changing the "raid 0" mode so that the disks would appear separately (C: + D:), the recovery I created earlier I did a reinstall with the "usb disk". i started getting activation error after i finished installing with recovery usb drive. Did you make a hardware change in the error it gave in the activation section? After answering "yes" to the question, I ran the activation troubleshooter and informed that the problem was resolved and the system was successfully activated. Then I restored many programs and backups I've been using, I don't remember exactly, but I used it for a while without any problems. After a short while I was surprised to see the "enable windows" warning in the lower right corner. I tried all kinds of solutions mentioned in the comments on various web pages and Microsoft help pages, but no matter what I did, I was unsuccessful. We had a phone call with a Microsoft Turkey official, and after connecting to the laptop remotely and applying a few codes using the command prompt, he asked if there was no digital license embedded in the bios, if I had taken the device to a service for any malfunction or maintenance, and I told him "I did not take it". I gave. I think upon this answer, he thought that I was lying, that I was trying to activate the system through hacking ways, and ended the conversation by stating that I needed to talk to an MSI representative. After completing the installation with the recovery usb drive, I started getting an activation error. I gave. I think upon this answer, he thought that I was lying, that I was trying to activate the system through hacking ways, and ended the conversation by stating that I needed to talk to an MSI representative. I tried to explain the situation by talking to the MSI representative on the phone as it said there was no license key in the system bios and asked him to find out what my original license key was on my computer when I bought it. and email it to me. Shortly after, I received an email with the license key and enthusiastically logged into the system with the specified license key. I don't remember the exact order now, but the first time I tried it or the day after I entered the key, when I booted the system, the "activate windows" warning popped up again and I was getting really pissed off. Warnings stating that my license is not genuine, that I need to activate it by purchasing a new license key, etc. Tired of the story? Really? 🙂 I think it will be more fun from now on... Although I got error messages, I finally got the original license from MSI authority. I couldn't stand the wait and stopped talking to the attendant and went back to searching the various web pages. By the way, I have a company serving in the renewable energy sector. I bought this computer in 2015 to use in my business after founding my company. (Even the invoice and e-mail of the online shopping site I bought while ordering remain.) Recently, my work started to get busy, I think I lost a lot of time with this frustrating experience, I was going to go. get an activation key again, but that's the case now. It has been a matter of stubbornness for me. It is much more difficult for me to get a license key again with money on top of the time I spend unnecessarily and I still believe that I will get through this situation somehow. Anyway, let's continue where we left off. I decided to follow the advice on various web pages, "If the methods you've tried don't work, you should do a clean install". After downloading the "Windows 10 Home" version with the "Recovery Media Creation Tool" that I downloaded from Microsoft's web page, I started to follow the other steps mentioned and at this point I made the mistake of my life. After the application told me to start the installation by inserting a usb drive into my computer to create the recovery media, I did exactly as it said and deleted the only copy I had, the original recovery copy that came with the system. , the recovery media inside was also deleted, the only copy was on the usb drive I used for the clean install and applied formatting... Thus; On my way to Midyat to buy rice, I ate bulgur at home. (A general term.) I would like to thank Microsoft for giving me the experience of living together emotions such as anger, sadness and depression. Thanks, stay tuned, glorious Microsoft. I guess I can't buy this experience you gave me with money.. 🙂 Where we were? Did you think it's over huh.. 🙂 To do a clean install, I installed it with the Windows 10 Home version that I downloaded and installed on the usb memory, which caused the single copy to be deleted and I set the ssd drivers back to "Raid 0" before doing it. ", just like when I bought the system for the first time. After the installation, I could not activate it with the license key I got from the MSI authorized service. I checked whether there is an oem license key in the bios with various tools, because the Microsoft official told me that there is no oem license key embedded in the bios. When I checked this time, there was a license key, but it was a different key than the one given by MSI authorized service. I think I started researching again due to an error warning like "Core Version" that appeared in my activation attempts with the original key given to me. This time, after downloading the "Windows 10 Home Single Language" version and installing with the necessary usb driver, the activation took place, but after a while (for example, when I go from home to work, when I connect to the wifi internet at my workplace, the "Activate Windows" error warning is displayed in the lower right corner. From the very beginning, when I checked my Microsoft Account, which I used to log in to the system, it was strange that at the end of each reboot/run of the system, my laptop with the same user and device name would appear in my account multiple times, as if it were different computers. , the same user, at least 20+ devices with the same user and system name appear in my microsoft account. This may be a clue. I think I did a lot of reinstallation after formatting to do what I described, but I could not find a solution to the problem. In summary, right now; -Win 10 Home Single Language version is installed, sometimes the activation warning message disappears by itself, after a while it comes back again. - I have the original windows activation key that the MSI official gave me. - When I first purchased the system, the Windows version that came with it may have been 8 or 8.1, unfortunately I do not remember. - I don't know which version of the product key I have. - I've been signing in with the same Microsoft account (even multiple accounts I've used for years) from the very beginning (the day I bought it). "Normally, shouldn't Microsoft recognize me?" - My brain stopped again, I don't know what else I have... What can I do in this situation? There can be any Professor who can help me or a Candidate who will treat this situation as a "Graduation Thesis" topic, someone who can help me?, Microsoft Official ? Is not there? It's like a joke.. Make up your mind and don't get involved in things you don't know like me! Apply after obtaining the opinion and approval of authorized persons, including the slightest hardware change request. Otherwise, you'll end up with life like me. Lastly, the dialogues between me and the person I talked to. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win880Views1like0Comments
